Remarks

Most known and adorned college in Trivandrum with great academic as well as cultural excellence. It has both NAAC and NBA accreditation. Very disciplined college good facilities. The admission process is like 1st shortlisting candidates according to the marks secured in 12th as well as in entrance and preparing merit list followed by an interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

It gives at most importance to academic activities. Faculties are always ready to help students assignments and monthly text are been conducted. Faculties are MTech graduates or with phd and some doing phd. Term exams are done for 50 marks and it was done as per the norms of university exams

Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Off campus internships are allowed. From college, we will be taken to an industrial visit of 9 days and apart from that we can attend off-campus internships keeping in mind we will not lose attendance

Placement Experience

Various companies like IBM, INFOSYS, UST GLOBAL, POLUS SOFTWARE, ENVESTNET and various other companies comes for placement drive. Last year almost 150 students was placed from ece department alone

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are as per the government norms and there are scholarships which the college provide for bright students who are economically weaker and for those belonging to obc apart from scholarships provided by various government departments

Campus Life

Baselios always provides an unforgettable memory to its members. We have a college fest which is technical as well as cultural 'crossroads' and baselian fest which is purely a cultural event Basketball matches. It's gives much importance to sports and athletics. It became the first among engineering colleges to become champions in university youth festival. Various social activities are also carried out under NSS units, blood donation in every 6 months and other such activities are also carried out

There was an interview session which mainly focused on the interest of the student to choose the stream and also test the willingness to study

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
