Remarks

The management of the college is also supportive towards the education of the students. The one thing that many of the students will feel as a bad remark is that once you enter the college, you are not allowed to leave the campus without any information from the student's parents.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

From the very beginning day of the College, they will start preparing you for the outer competitive world, the professors may teach you through books or even through smart classes, as per your need. On the second year you will be even taken for some industrial visits according to your course for increasing the course based knowledge. On your final year they will start preparing you for your campus placements, so that one can easily crack the campus jobs.

Placement Experience

4

There are many renowned organization that came to the College for campusing purpose, like for instance Amazon, IBM, Tata Steel, Tata Power, etc. will come to college to hire you according to your grades.

College Events

4

The events celebrated at the college are, Sports meet, Annual Function, Blood donation camps, etc. The favorite part of these events is that everyone can be a part of these events, no partiality can be seen. Even at the end of the event the students are well fed and even sometimes are gives some prizes for their excellence in that respective field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite affordable, approximately 25000 every six months for the entire course. Which I think that it will be affordable for the students also, as I do some part time jobs to pay for my college fees. Because I don't want my parents to feel that I'm a burden on them, that's why I'm earning as well as paying for my own college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college does gives you scholarship opportunities if you want, but I didn't wanted so I don't have a scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is well studious, the gender ratio is 2:1 for boys and girls ratio respectively. Most of the local religion people study in the college, like Hindus, Muslims, Christians, although there is unity in everyone whether it's the students or the professors of the college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I have not opted for Hostel facility but yes the college do have well hygienic hostel facility anyone can opt for, you won't get any luxurious facilities like ac and all, although you can get geyser for the winters if you are will to pay extra money for that. The rooms are well spacious and airy. You will also have hostel gaurds gaurding them at night for your utmost safety.

Alumni/Alumna

All the seniors of the college are also very helpful for their juniors. They are ready to help the juniors for their academic purposes.

Admission

I opted for Mechanical because it'll give me enough opportunities in the future to crack a healthey salaried job maybe even in Google someday. who knows. I chose this College because it gave me the degree within my budget. Now the steps for the admission process, first you'll have to reach the College and ask for the administration room at the reception, when you reach the administration room, ask about the particular course you want to have for the span of next 3 years. Then they will give you two forms against a fees of 500 only. The first form will be of your admission form which you must fill in the presence of your gaurdian and the second form will be of anti ragging affidavit which has to completed at your local court.

Faculty

5

The faculties of the college are well profound in their respective fields. They know what they are teaching, also they are very helpful for you in every situation. Each Lecturer is from that particular feild of industrial experience with valid certification on which subject they are teaching.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.
