Nothing, the college is absolutely fine. Only thing is that they could improve the placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
The learning imparted is according to the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC). However, the course has been prescribed by Gauhati University. I feel the course can be more scientific and profession driven. But, overall the course structure is not that poor.
Placement Experience
Since, I'm only in the first year of college, I don't know much about the placement structure. However, as I know they too are good.
College Events
The events are very good. They are properly managed by the college management and students. Many events like singing, dancing, acting and so on are held in the college campus. They are held on a large scale and everyone can participate in them. Overall they're good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible as the college is a government college which is older than 100 years. However, there might be some amount of corruption by the Principal himself during the admission of academically weaker students. Otherwise, the fees is very much affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I am not eligible for any sort of scholarship because I belong to the general category. I don't have an education loan.
Campus Life
The campus life is fun. Gender ratio is 2:1 for boys and includes a diverse range of students. Other things like extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates, etc are also good and properly managed by the college management and students.
Alumni/Alumna
No, there is no alumni association as such. So, there is no question of them being helpful. The faculty is enough.
Admission
I got the admission in the college based on my Class 12 results. The application for admission was online. However, the main part took place in the college campus, where we were interviewed for admission. I didn't have any problem in getting admission as I had good grades.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are the best ones selected through rigorous interviews and among the best ones in the entire region. The facility is really cooperative with the students and are ready to clear our doubts as soon as possible. I cannot write more.
