Remarks

A fair management. students friendly. Management really helps the students. They provide everything that need a student to develop.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's really a great experience in DBPC (my college). The structure of course was excellent. Entirely different from school. Here we have more freedom to learn as much as we could. Generally exams conducted after 6 months. A total of 6 semesters. We had got enough time to study.and prepare for the examination. No Industrial visits

Placement Experience

2.5

Our college is Arts and Science college. So placement drives were less to professional colleges. Mainly some companies like Tech Mahindra, Global Education Solutions, Ikya etc. conducted drives in my college. Only some students got selected in this drives.

College Events

5

We were mainly focused on Cultural and social events. Our college have a good National Service Scheme team(NSS). We were the best NSS team in Kerala in the year 2012 and 2013. Our cultural and social programs are lead by this team. Our Arts fest were superb. Students used these platform very well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. Basically I got merit seat and have scholarship. so there was only a small amount around 200 in one semester. Management were transparent in such things. There were no additional fees. Fees were accepted by cash. we got recepit regarding our payment instantly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I had one. During the admission time management Informed me about the scholarship. Basically it was given to the students who were ecnomically not sound. So after submitted the relevant documents I got that and I got a relaxation from annual fee.

Campus Life

4

Campus was superb. There were more girls in numbers. Gender equality was a good sign in our college. there were no racial discrimination. A friendly atimosphere. We were good in cultural and sports events. We conducted several programs regarding this.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were excellent in everything. they supported me to mould a better version of me. They had very much influencd in my studies and in building a good character

Admission

Main reason to choose this college is,this is the only college affiliated to MG University in my area.I opt physics because to improve my physics knowledge. After my 12th exam results. I applied for graduation in colleges under MG University. They evaluated my marks and alloted me a merit seat in this college

Faculty

5

Faculty was superb. There were 7 in my course. All of them were cool. They all teached us in right way. Average age was around 40 and all were well experienced. There were many mphil graduates, and Doctors in that group. They managed to clear and clarify the subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
