College review

Whole journey of my college life was amazing. It is one of the best engineering govt college that every student wish to have admission in. It is one of the best in terms of placements. I got placement in one of the MNCs in technical relevant field.

Course curriculum is quite well structured and it includes theory exams as well as practicals also. There are 8 semesters in totality. In each semester there are approx. 4-5 theory exams and their relevant practical exams. It was well grommed to provide the industry based knowledge and hands on trainings. It was helpful in bagging 3 placement opportunities from Campus.

Mostly all the top companies including technical and non-technical companies visit every year for placement process. Placement process is very crystal clear. Students with more than 65% aggregate can sit in almost all relevant companies. Recruitment process includes percentage shortlisting, followed by written test, followed by group discussions and final interviews.

Technical fests and cultural fests like Moksha, innovation etc are being organised each year on a very huge level. Mostly they are sponsored by big companies. Reputed guests like singers, dancers, movie stars used to arrive every year and perform.

Fee Structure is very transparent. Whole fee structure is available on college's website. No there is no hidden way to secure the addmission, it is totally dependent on your rank of IIT jee mains now. Mode of payment is through cash, Demand draft, cheque, etc.

Scholarship was based on the last year's percentage of marks. Some external scholarship were based on caste and last year's marks. Procedure include the application form available in the adminstration department.

Gender ratio was good about 60:40 based on ranking of students. There is no criteria of admission based on gender. There were various cultural and technical societies like dance, drama, singing, etc. Societies. Everyone is free to be a part of the societies.There is no discrimination based on caste, religion or economic conditions of a student.

Yes, there were around 4 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels. Some rooms were single occupancy based and some were double occupancy based. Average rent was 8000 per month including mess fees. Facilities included mess, sports like table tennis, garden area, batminton, etc.

Seniors were really helpful throughout the journey of my college life. They helped in understanding of projects, during fest management, helped in getting extra notes and books. For interactions with different alumni we use facebook or LinkedIn.

NSIT is a well known government college in Delhi whose reputation in list of top government engineering colleges is really very good in terms of education and placement. I good admission from my AIEEE exams's rank. I chose Instrumentation and control as course beacuse of its growing popularity in World due to Automation.

Faculty was having proper knowledge of their fields. Most of the facility was experienced and permanent of around 27-40 years age. Most of them were having post graduation or masters. Daily there were around 5-6 lectures of 1 hour each. They used examples,PPT, practical demonstrations for making the things clear.
