The university is good, there are flaws sure. But still, I like the university and its atmosphere and friend circle out there.

The course is so good. It’s a five-year course. In which 1st two years we have to study all the three maths, physics & chemistry majors. We can choose our core subject from the third year onwards and complete the course by a final year project submission.

Here there is no placement started yet. Because it is a developing university. And so that we don’t get our stipend as other central universities are providing. Here we can apply for summer & winter internships in other colleges with the help of our faculty's recommendation.

Here we celebrate almost all festivals but under the student's responsibility. The events like aaramb (college day), convocation, sports all these are held by authorities. Beyond this, we also have department functions. We have science day, elixir, farewell day. And other than all of these there will be some food feat and fun games day which may be conducted by particular departments.

The fee structure is quite cheap. The sem fee is around 5000. And the hostel fee is 1500 for a semester. And the exam fee will be 50? per credit. The admission is purely based on the entrance and merit list. There is no extra money provided. But the college rises the fee for each year students each year. Which is a bad thing. Otherwise, all other things are quite transparent.

The college as such didn’t offer any scholarships. As it is run by the central government, any scholarships that are introduced by them can be applied. I haven’t applied for any,& I haven’t got any. Because there is no kind of scholarships I have seen for a general category.

Here the majority of them are girls. In our university, there is no kind of party activities. If students have any issues we address them as a student union. Here they don’t provide any platform for debate or any such things, but smut students have come up with an idea of a student circle. Where we can share our thoughts are viewpoints.

We have a College hostel. In which 4 are accommodated per room. Which is inconvenient, to share room along 4. Sometimes it finds very difficult to share the cupboard & washing areas. Other than that we had a very poor mess facility. The food provided out there was so bad. All the students have complained about it and protested against this. And now we got a new mess.

Yes, we have a great aluminum circle. A WhatsApp group where they can guide and help us. In our university, there is no such ragging happens. But there are healthy interactive sessions between seniors and juniors, which can only make the bond stronger.

The first step is to apply for the cucet entrance examination. After the exam and result publishing procedure, the respected institution will call you for counseling purposes. From there we can opt for our major subject as I have chosen integrated MSc chemistry from physics, maths & life science. I get to know about this institution and examination from my entrance coaching center and I found this interesting because this course is offered by the central government and the facilities and the fee structure were so convenient.

The faculties out there are well experienced and best of all. They have a Ph.D. or any such qualifications. They quite friendly, so that we can approach them whenever we want. Through mail, phones, or in person. The lectures are so good and much convincing. We can ask any doubt at any time. Most of the time they just point out the topics and we are supposed to study from the recommended books from the library.
