Budding Political Scientist - My experience @University

Fees are expensive. Submitted representations to administration regarding fee reduction, by there was no favourable response.

The society and Student centric curriculum is being framed to impart society and research orinted knowledge to students to analyse the social and political issues and find out solutions. A lot many NGOs do visit our campus and placements will be done in our final year.

Ours is 2 years old Institutions with first batch passing out this year. I hope Various Companies and NGOs do visit and recruit students.

Fresher's Party with various dance, fashion, singing competitions for juniors. University foundation day with speeches by Dignitaries and students and cultural events. Onam, Bathukamma festivals with traditional cuisines, devotion and tourism day involving almost all the students

Expensive when compared to all other Central Universities in India. Both online and offline mode of payment is accepted at banks. Additional fee is being collected like hoste room rent and fee for mess and sports fee, library fee, internet fee etc per semester.

No. Our university doesn't provide any scholarship to students. We have to rely on scholarship provided by state government

Gender ratio is quite good. 40 : 60. Campus life is very interesting with greenery and sophisticated building. Got good friends with helping nature. Students are highly sensible towards all the above mentioned factors. We do participate in debates involving discussions of various economic, political, society importance.

Had strong interest to persue social sciences from my childhood. My Institution is a Central higher education institution established by an act of Parliament with eminent faculty and gives exposure and cultural diversity to students. As a normal student from rural background, I had a strong desire to join a central university. So applied for CUAP, wrote entrance and I got 2nd rank in overall entrance exam.Then I receied a call to attend admission counselling. So finally I'm here today.

All faculty are above the Assistant Professor level with high expertise in their respective academic domains between 30 - 65 age group. They conduct more student interactive classes and related everything to society. On an average 14-15 classes will conducted in a week.
