Course Curriculum Overview

3

I want to be a civil servant and the Circulum would match my upsc Syllabus and covers almost 70% of the syllabus that can help me complete my degree and UPSC preparation at the same time it provides a strong theoretical foundation for students interested in Government jobs, Civils services, research and law Update in the syllabus even though the Core syllabus is great but the contemporary must be changed and updates must be added, The course of syllabus where the chapters are interlinked to one another i.e Chronological order of the chapters needs to changed and the reference books for students who are interested to read further must be added by the university as list or book reading list Exam frequency as per official semesters exams it'll be twice in a year with internal exams and weekly, Monthly tests as well, The difficultly level was moderate to me and easy sometimes as i was regularly. The questions used to be analytical questions and open book assessments to test the understanding rather than memorizing part.

Internships Opportunities

1

i have got Internship opportunities from Eenadu, Andhrajyoti and other in accordance with my degree but there are very limited opportunities for me. The Projects that i worked with my professors during my Degree were Gender Inequality, International Realtions and Policy research

Placement Experience

2

from 5TH semester we have got our hands on the Internship opportunities and as Im From BA background I haven't got huge number they were minimal opportunities . There were no proper placements and platform for us to reach as we mostly relyed on Government competitive exams and further studies. Im planning to do my masters soon after my 1st attemp of UPSC

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise Fee that i paid was, for the first year i paid around 7000-10000 and same for the rest of 2 years. Tuition fee was around 6500, registration fee was 1500, Admission fee which is a one time one was 2000, Developmental fee ws 1000 and other library expenses and miscellaneous was 2000. General Management quota would be around 7000-10000 per annum and 2000-3000 for SC/ST category, 3000-5000 OBC or EWS category. scholorships from Government Of Andhra pradesh such as Jagannna Vidhya deevena which covers full tuition fee for eligible sc/st, ews and obc students, Jagannan vasathi deevena which covers hostel expenses, University merit Scholorship for students with excellent academic performance and it's subjective

Campus Life

4

We celebrate every telugu festival and all cultural aspects of Telugu Tradition, Such as ugadi, Diwali, holi, Vijay dasami, Ganesh chaturdi etc. The accessibility is super amazing but the resources are little outdated comparatively. students can avail both Digital and Physical library as welll which has some Amazing collections. The technological Advancements needs to be revised from whatever is available right now. we have A lot of Sports clubs one for each sport and All of our classmates were actively part of it, Extra circular activities like zonal sports events, College fests, International events such as Womens day etc. Social Group's like Student protest clubs, debate clubs, Committee clubs, Food committee club etc for Administrative hurdles which makes easy for students to reach out if there was any problem with the college Administration which will always help the Student clubs

Hostel Facilities

5

Hot water, drinking water, Bed, Electricity, wifi connection, racks and book shelves were available. Rooms were cleaned once in day, we need to wash our own Clothes. Egg twice in a week, Non Veg once in a week and Meals are nice with good quality. We might not like some curries but most of the days they are tasty and healthy We need to pay one month advance and Security deposit and submit the required details like aadhar, Emergency Contact details etc. My PG location was 5kms away from my college.

Admission

Before applying to Krishna University for My BA political science, I Explored Several other colleges based on my requirements and some of other universities that i considered were Acharya Nagarjuna University which is close to my home and i didn't go there as i need a change over in my environment, Andhra University i didn't mee the required percentile as it was quite high and Osmania University which is in other state. The college i choose was comparatively better In terms of Budget Friendly, Traditional syllabus, Faculty expertise and location is very near to my place. The Admission is straightforward marit based and the Eligibility is 12th pass from a recognized board, The application can be submitted through online via university portal. The merit list and Cutoff will be revised every year and Mostky depends upon 12th Marks. Document Verification and fee payments can be done after Selection.

Faculty

5

The faculty- to- student ratio is around 1:45 and the class room spaces are enough for a 80-90 students, The faculty are super friendly and professional at the same time, they are always available and students used to approach them even after college timings. kalyan sir, Chakravarthy sir and Jaya prakash sir who are the faculties of my core subjects Political Science, History and Economics respectively and their Teaching methods are exceptional. Exams are conducted on every weekend and conducted Twice a year and the difficultly is moderate to students who are regular to classes. The course curriculum covers are the theoretical part but it lacks practical exposure like fieldwork and internships.

Night Life

1

I used to stay away from my college so haven't got much experience to explore the nightlife. Machilipatnam beache spots, Village life would be the greatest experiences for anyone. famous places like Vijayawada Durgamma temple, Bhavani island, Undavalli caves, Krishna Barrage etc

Honestly, I didn't know anything before I joined the program I just knew I wanted to help people with mental illness but coming here just opened me into a whole new world of intellect. In the first few semesters we even had electives we could choose and I chose history in one semester and English in the next 2 it was amazing and fun but now in my 4th year because I stayed back for honours degree its mostly all psychology paper with one sociology paper which is my minor. I love my course.
