Gitam life

Honestly, I didn't know anything before I joined the program I just knew I wanted to help people with mental illness but coming here just opened me into a whole new world of intellect. In the first few semesters we even had electives we could choose and I chose history in one semester and English in the next 2 it was amazing and fun but now in my 4th year because I stayed back for honours degree its mostly all psychology paper with one sociology paper which is my minor. I love my course.

The yearly for our batch 2021-23/24 was 60 thousands indian rupees but the fee for our previous batch was 45 thousand and now for our junior it has been increasing with 2022 batch paying 1 lakh rupees for any Bachelors in arts degree in gitam university. I also heard our sub junior are paying a lakh 20 thousand the 2023 batch. Coming to the scholarship part I had to write Gitam entrance test and had achieved a 50 percent scholarship but I show how ended paying the set fee of 60k rupees. The scholarship does go on if you score a 8 or more cgpa which I don't have currently. There were people who only had to pay 15k rupees in the first year as they got a 75% scholarship.

Oh Gitam has multiple feasts we had prom we had shore feast we had triuni feast we called multiple celebrities and musicians all over the country for our feast it's fun and loud and cheery. The books in the library and plenty insightful too. Gitam has multiple clubs for multiple people kalakriti was art, dance, singing, theatre and anchoring, SAGA (Sexuality and gender awareness club) WLF (womens leader forum AMC (anime manga club) engineering clubs Rotaract club.

I honestly don't apply to any other colleges and wanted to go abroad but one thing lead to another and I joined gitam because it was very close to my place. Sadly there is my bad rep in my state when it comes to gitam college saying it a college for the rich and stoners but isn't that a scene in every section of the society? The admission process was pretty simple in our case cuz it was an online admission process. It was fine. We had induction classes too

The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good actually there are multiple psychology professors and students who take our programs like BA economics, sociology, history, English, political science have multi professors to choose from too. They are all kind and nice but there are a few who can be nosy and a little too interested in student’s lives
