Remarks

The College is great of you are here to make friends, memories and learn. Not so great if you are here for job opportunities or to make networks. Jamia is a big name in India but as they say their is no such thing as bad publicity.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is good, however, the curriculum was quite hectic in some of the semesters. The exam structure is quite traditional and old school. I think a lot can be done to make the whole process more flexible.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is virtually no placements and job opportunities in the College. You are on your own as far as this aspect is considered. However the professors are always available to guide us. Off campus placements do happen in the College but that is also a rare sight.

College Events

1.5

Jamia is famous for its fest, all year round one or another fest is going on, whether it is a business fest like bizplan or a mushayara. We also have quite a few debate contests which tend to get very competitive.

Fee Structure And Facilities

27000

Fees and Financial Aid

The College does offers scolorships for needy students but I didn't availed for the same as I wasn't meeting the eligibility criteria. The College has a tie up with the bank of India, they do provide loans for fee payment.

Campus Life

4

40

Alumni/Alumna

The College has alumni's like shahrukh khan but sadly no active alumni network. The seniors are helpful and they have guided us through many paths in the College which we would have otherwise left untouched.

Admission

I was doing Bcom (H) from PGDAV when I got shortlisted for this course. By that time I had realized I am not cut out for studying accountancy and that I wanted to study business. So I decided to leave DU for Jamia.

Faculty

4

As someone who has spent some time in more than 2 grad Colleges. In my opinion Jamia's faculty is better if we compare the faculty with DU's (south and off campus) faculty. Some of the professors are great and have a lot of experience in the field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is vast and extensive but it may feel that it lacks recent information and developments in dentistry as dentistry is fast and ever evolving. The course does prepare us for future academic pursuits but does need revision to make it more relevant.

Regarding the course curriculum, it is well decided and there is a hospital inside the college so the experience is much better because 1st you learn and apply that to the practical work. Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to do MBBS.My score in neet UG was 607 but the cut off was too high so I decided to go for BDS and I wanted to do it from the top college of India and it led me to choose MAIDS. BDS is a very challenging course but at the end it pays well. Bds not only involves study about dental anatomy/histology/pathology but we also get to study about general anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology etc. So overall the curriculum is quite interesting if you are already interested in medicine. We have three exams in first year, two internals and a professional exam. The exams are quite difficult
