Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good but the way of teaching is worst.the teachers here are not fit for few subjects. There are no study materials and there are more than 5text books for each subject and there is no placement facilities

Internships Opportunities

The internship is provided by the college is satisfactory but in the internship there is more humiliation and few internship companies does not allow the students to know about the subject clearly and there is less enjoyment in the internship

There are no placements provided by the college till date and the job opportunities are one can write for Indian economics service which is under UPSC exam, and work as a data analyst in MNCs and also there are jobs as a stock market agents.

College Events

The events celebration in our college is good and they have conducted cultural fest and other fests but there always be no satisfaction. Thankyou

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 50000.Which is very expensive though it's a government college there is no good sports facilities but they take fee for it and also they take gym khana fees but I still don't know what they provided to us

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide students scholarship but it does not cover one month hostel rent which is 7000 RS, and also they don't provide loans infact anyone can apply in the banks for loans the necessary documents will be provided by the college

Campus Life

There are very less extracurricular activities and the lab is well designed and the computers are good and the computers advanced but sports is not good in the college, there is no proper ground.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is still not fully constructed and there is a canteen in boys hostel girls should also go to canteen for having food and the food is good and free WiFi facilities also provided.

External Expense: Rs. 10000 - 15000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are good and they are helpful to us. But they do not support juniors I. Sports and other cocurricular activities and they do not write notes and they don't attend college regularly. Thankyou

Admission

Through CUCET entrance exam and fill BASE application then on your score you get admission to college. The score in your 12 th grade must be minimum 70 percentage and compulsory 75 percentage in mathematics.

Faculty

Few are well qualified but though they are qualified but it is not for the subject they have qualification and there are only 2 permanent faculties and they are not fit for excellence teaching and my opinion on faculties is 40percentage good and others are not

Positive experience with internship training

Likes

The principal is very supportive and helpful to students. The management listens to student problems and guide us. The college campus environment is good.

Placement Experience:

The college also provide basic placement support like career guidance, interview preparation, and skill development program. After completing my degree, i plan to gain work experience in my feild and improve my professional skill for better career opportunities.

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Friendly and supportive faculties who guide in our studies and future career suggestions
Best teaching methods by conducting various activities and exams

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

All you need to know about BASEU

Likes

Infrastructure is really good, the campus is huge and is filled with greenery
The curriculum is extensive and is based on real world applications
The campus is happening with a lot of clubs

Dislikes

The placements are not upto the mark, could be better
The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.

Getting to know BASEU

So, one of the colleges that i got into was Delhi University. Although its an esteemed college, I have always been a little skeptical about studying in Delhi. Keeping that fear aside, BASE offered this marvellous curriculum which felt like a dream for an indian college. This practical knowledge instead of theoretic mug up made this college stand out. I didn't get rejected from any colleges i applied to. The admission for this college is through a test called CUET . For a 5 year integrated degree in economics, CUET UG is to be given and for a 2 years masters in economics CUET PG is given. A great college for purely learning Economics

Eligibility for the course is done through CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) which also conducts JEE mains and advanced examinations. The application would be available from the website (https://cuet.nta.nic.in/). After writing the CUET exam and getting the score for it go to college website (https://www.base.ac.in) and apply for the desired course. Please enter your CUET score in the application form when asked. Coming to reservations SC/ST category reservations are there and there is 60% reservation for people from Karnataka across all categories.
