Remarks

According to me in terms of studies, environment, professors and students, my college is the best. In spite of the fact that we don't have fests or other sports activities in our college. But, if somebody wants to go to some fest or has an interest in any sports activity, one can go to another college and do so.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It's pretty easy and simple. In the first two year of bachelor's, we have to two Core subjects, AECC ( Ability Enhancement Course Curriculum) and GE (Generic Elective). And in the final year, we have 2 Core Subjects and 2 DESC papers. Final exams are held in the month of May and December in each semester. in each semester, 2 or 1 internal is held and projects submissions and presentations are there, as desired by the professor. So, basically, it differs from college to college and with the subject also.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college provides placements and there are frankly very great opportunities after doing this course. Amazon comes in our college every year, in the month of February for placements of students pursuing bachelor's and master's in any language. Plus, there are summer internships offered by our college and exchange programs also.

College Events

3

Francophone day- Students pursuing bachelor's in French are most concerned. German day- Students pursuing bachelor's in German are most concerned. Italian day- Students pursuing bachelor's in Italian are most concerned. Spanish day- Students pursuing bachelor's in Spanish are most concerned.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed yet. But, students pursuing master's get good scholarship opportunities in their desired colleges, if they want to continue their studies in future. After graduation also, they can also get a scholarship like Assistana is for French and Spanish students.

Campus Life

4.5

There are not any. Because it's the main North Campus of Delhi University and it has only departments which offer high-end courses. No fests or other sports activities are held. Moreover, there is a central library, where anybody can go and study whenever they want to. There is a centre in our college where physically challenged people can also study.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, our professors are helpful a lot. They offer us the best recommendation letters one can have. And, they teach us in each and every way, to make us understand each and every aspect of language. Thanks to them, we have enlarged our vision of knowledge to a greater extent. And, senior students also help us in each and every way.

Admission

Firstly, I checked the cut-offs of this college. Because if you want to do bachelor's or master's from any of the college and your preferred subject in DU, a list is provided on their website: www.du.ac.in There, one can see the list of colleges and their cut-offs. Some colleges close their cut-offs earlier, which have fewer seats or students might have already taken admission, so their seats get full and they close their cut-offs earlier. One can match their cut off according to the preferred college and subject, and they can go in that college to take admission. Secondly, you need to have your original documents of 10th and 12th Mark sheet, 5 passport-sized photos, migration certificate, caste certificate, character certificate ( if your school has given you). Thirdly, go in that college with the required documents and they will calculate your marks, and your signature will be required. You also need to buy a prospectus of the college, in order to know more about the college. Then, they will keep your documents for a while but will return all of them to you as your classes will start.

Faculty

5

It's good and I adore the Eco-friendly environment of our college. Professors are really encouraging, and motivating. As all professors of our college are PhD scholars, so they are very dedicated towards the studies of students. They also help us in any way we want, especially, if they have information about that field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

My course is on a difficult side . There are subjects like statistics and maths which are too practical and hard . But this opens my mind towards practical approaches. Moreover the demand for this course is much more then its related courses like bcom and bba.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements
