Remarks

Positive remark is that the college has excellent alumini and learning environment. Negative remark is that we don't have sports activities happening, we don't have loans/scholarships for students and the Department doesn't utilise it's fund in improving the infrastructure and paying the teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is nice i must say. Although it becomes a bit tough as you come up to the higher levels of language. A1 and A2 are very easy levels as compared to B1 and B2. In the second year, we had presentations that we did and that plays an immense role in shaping up the student for corporate fields. Presentations were super fun, we learned to work in groups.

Placement Experience

3.5

College doesn't provide internship as such but we do have placements happening. Amazon and Share-it visit our college for campus placement drives. But for that the student must fill in Central Placement cell forms

College Events

3.5

We celebrate German day, Spanish day, italian day, French day, Teachers day etc. On Gandhi jayanti we have cleaning drive as well. Every celebration is unique in its own way with specially designed language centric decoration and organisation of the event.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of now I'm not aware about any scholarship/loan facility provided by our college. It's a developing department at the heart of Arts faculty and i hope the department will provide loans and scholarship in the coming years. Department gets a lot of funds but they don't use it as far as i know.

Campus Life

3

It's a language course so we don't really have any lab. We don't have any specific sports facility here. But we do have many language workshops happening every month. It's an all gender friendly campus, a very beautiful place to study at. No discrimination happens here, and this place has it's own set of rules to tackle any kind of discrimination.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are amazing, they guide you through the campus placement programs if you ask. Teachers are also very helpful. There are many teachers who are very knowledgeable that a half an hour conversation with them would make your mind go Wow, because that's the kind of knowledge they possess. Classes with Rama Paul mam are super awesome and i love her classes. She has taught me to think in a mature manner, act wisely and has taught me to dive deep into topics that i find amazing.

Admission

Delhi University admissions are all about Cut-offs. Had to wait till third cut-off to fulfill the needs of being admitted in to a language course. I wanted to do Spanish as i had interest in Spanish music and culture. Once i knew I had enough percentage to get into the college, i went and submitted my documents and submitted certificates and within 2 and half weeks, we had our orientation day.

Faculty

5

Faculty of College are very renowned for their teaching, highly qualified teachers with PHD and over 20-25+ experience in teaching. There are young teachers too who are amazing. But one issue is that these amazing teachers are not made permanent and some of them are not paid enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course curriculum includes learning across 2 feilds like i have economics and maths and later we can continue 4th year to get hons degree . So its really gives time for a person to test himself or herself about which field to go on for as specialization. The difficulty level for this course is easy to moderate.
