Remarks

They are helpful as always and they surely derive solutions for a student's problem

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is really a great course curriculum helping young generation to become educated, learned, skilled and wise enough to live and earn a living I liked a subject wireless communication in my 8th sem and I pursued my first job in the same. being exposed to practical, I found that studies did help in the same.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are great and every student gets enough exposure and Person development training as well for the same.

College Events

There are a lot of events that take place there. the biggest being the grafest where students learn to volunteer and also enjoy with artist and celebs coming in to perform. It has a lot of other events too that take place at the same time and in that same year. That has also been extremely helpful in cocurricular activities for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive - although the fee for course is almost same in all colleges in this area. but still it is expensive. A lot is being charged for a student from a middle class and also keeping reservation in mind. It would be great if the university lowers its cost to student by atleast 20%.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did apply for a education loan from central bank of india as the studies here are too expensive and we being a middle class family couldn't have afforded it.

Campus Life

3.5

Brilliant campus life with a lot of fields and spaces available. A brilliant computer network setup between 4 computer centres. also fully equipped central labs accessible to all with alot of opportunities with sports as well and basketball here. was my favourite sport

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are pretty helpful with a lot of discussion oriented sessions if you get to know them.they did help us with notes and practical teachings from their time.

Admission

I got admission by the meri list and my marks in AIEEE exam back then In 2012. Then we were called up for counseling after registration and then we got to select our trade according to our marks obtained in AIEEE exam. It was pretty simple and a lot of my friends went in with me.

Faculty

Brilliantly learned faculties and 4 lectures and a session of practical in equipped labs everyday.Faculties were a few with knowledge and experience from some great organization like ISRO and DRDO, few faculties had great teaching experience also and knew what are major aspects and their applications in practical industries

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.
