Course Curriculum Overview
The course is mostly theoretical as there is very little scope for research owing to the temporary campus of the university. I learned several skills during and after the course that have helped me become a better professional. I'm not into a job but working as a consultant.
Placement Experience
Intenrships are recommended by professors and students are also guides to various other places but there is very little placement drive.
College Events
An annual fest was held by the university at a grand level where many of the known persons from all of India as well as foreign participated. Quizzes were organized by the likes of Barry O Brien. In the sports fest lots of games were played. In science fest, physicists and technical experts used to share their knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the course is around 11 thousand per semester for a period of 6 months. This includes the lab fee, tution fee as well as access to the vast library. A one time security and admission fee was paid in the beginning of the course. The fee is refundable after leaving the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for any scholarship as the fee was feasible enough to be paid once for 6 months. There was little additional expense as the campus was in the outskirts of the city.
Campus Life
Very natural campus with green trees and fresh air. Gender ratio was very good. Sports was very popular. Debates were held from time to time. The students also held competition in their departments. A science club was as long set up by the name of quarks ensemble.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. Shared rooms were provided with a charge of 200 per person. The rooms were tiled and proper windows were there. Bed and table was provided for every occupant. Mess facility was good enough for survival.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are very helpful and many of them have been chosen by foreign universities for their phd programs.
Admission
June 2011 via Cucet Exam. I was very fascinated towards the new thing that i read in class 8th and when in 12th i got to know that CUJ was teaching a course starting 2010 I applied for it. I was selected in the final round. The admission began in June 2011.
Faculty
Excellent faculty as most are phd from IIT and and have worked in the foreign university labs as well. Their experience helps the students learn things with ease and their network helps in internship opportunities as well as any lab experiments that they need to conduct.
