CU Jharkhand M.Tech Nanotechnology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The admission process at the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is conducted through the CUCET Examination, with rankings based on the exam scores. The counseling process has recently shifted online. Faculty members at CUJ are highly qualified, many holding PhDs from prestigious institutions like IIT and abroad, enriching the teaching and learning experience. The university offers affordable fees, with engineering semester costs at approximately 10,000 INR, including tuition, lab, and examination fees.

Other departments have fees ranging from 7,000 to 8,000 INR per semester. Hostel rent is modest at 200 INR per month, with a mess charge of 2,700 INR. The total cost for an engineering degree is under 1 lakh INR. While the university provides good facilities, placement opportunities vary by department. The School of Basic Science, Education, and Language offer better placements compared to the School of Technology. Placement opportunities in technical fields like Nanotechnology are limited due to the lack of related industries in India.

MBA and Language students have secured placements with companies such as Amazon and centralized banks. Students must independently secure internships as the university does not provide them directly, often looking to institutions like the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. With limited industry recruitment, many students pursue further studies or government exams. Scholarships are limited but available, providing tuition fee waivers to a few meritorious students per department based on financial needs.

State government scholarships can also be applied for. Although the university does not provide loan facilities, banks on campus, including PNB and Allahabad Bank, offer loan services to students.
