Good college with experienced staff

Positive - Good college to study in if having average marks. Negative - No accommodation in college like college hostel's etc. Have to see the accommodation outside on your own Also quality of food in college is not that good but ok for someday.

Since the college is autonomous the course is almost similar to SPPU(Savitribai phule pune University) with some topics/subject omitted as well as included according to what the college thinks for the betterment. The exam is divided into three sections as T1(1st unit test), T2(2nd unit test), & end semester exam(known as end sem) Where t1 comprises of 20 marks written paper. T2 comprises of 10 marks online test(10 marks for each subject). End sem comprises of 50 marks written paper. Subject differs according to the branch & year studying. You need to pass in each subject separately in end sem exam.

The job opportunities here are quite good for all the branches except for civil which are slightly low. Most of the students get the jobs with decent packages received at the start. Most of the companies gives a visit here including Microsoft. College also do provide internship. Only some of the internship's are paid. But have the opportunity of getting the job while doing the internship which is quite good.

The fee structure is moderate according to what the engineering college fee's are here & facilities provided. The fee structure is different here according to the caste belonging where SC/NT have the minimum fee. & the open caste students paying the full amount of fee. Students here can also get TFWS but this thing is very rare. TFWS- Tution fee waiver scheme

The college offers a scholarship as TFWS i. e Tution fee waiver scheme but this is very rare as a student or too only get this opportunity depending on his score card. The college also provides EBC. Not exactly college but the government i. e EBC(Economic Backward Classes) where the students in this have to pay only half of the Tution fees with half of it being paid by the government to the respective college.

Labs are quite good having almost all the utilities required. There is always a lab assistant in each & every lab having most of the knowledge of the lab (like pc's config, networking etc. ). There is also a sport club here which offers many chances from college level to international level with coaches here to teach atleast the basics of the sports.

I got the admission through JEE(Entrance exam). Students can also get admission through MH-CET(for maharashtra students). There are total 4 rounds for the chance of getting the admissions. The rounds consists of cut-off's for different college's respectively You have to fill the Colleges list before the rounds. Priority of the college should be maintained while filling the form where the college you need should be kept at top When the 1st round results are declared the student have to check the College allotted to him according to his marks & cut-off's of the college So, When I got admission in this (VIIT) college, I was happy since I wanted the same college. The admission process is quite simple here. You have to just take the print out of the alloted college & attach your (common) required documents to it. & after stamping you just have to visit the College for admission where you have to fill the respective college forms for admission along with the college fees & book your admission. Do not forget to carry the original documents too when you visit the respective College.

The faculty in this college has a lot of experience i. e atleast 10 years in teaching field. The faculty is also helpful whenever required. Each & every staff here has a minimum of master degree & further.
