The college being autonomous has a major advantage that it can bring in good quality courses without any hesitation. Moreover all the teachers are PHD with several years of experience. Exam Structure: 15*2=30 sessional+ 10 teachers assesment+ 60 end semester

The college does provide internship opportunities, the placement opportunities provided are sometimes not related to the courses pursued by the students. However tech gaints do visit the college and offer good package

The Canara Bank and SBI both have their branches within the campus and they both offer education loans at a less interest rate for the students of VNIT. The Mtech students get a stipend of ?12, 400 per month as per the provisions of the Govt of India

International level courts have been setup for badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, Cricket and khokho. The Gym facilities are provided to both male/female students separately. The local residents around the campus are allowed to have a morning/evening leasure walk around the campus.

The First year Btech have to share a 4 bed sharing room. The Second and third year Btech have to share 2/3 sharing room. The students of Final year Btech/ Mtech/PhD/ JRF all can access accommodation in the single bed room. Moreover all hostels have access to indoor games and sports equipment.

The Alumini Cell pays a lot of money to the betterment of the College. The recent example being that the statue of Visvesvaraya was setup in the college via the contribution of the Alumini Cell. The batch of 1983, 1984 has also given several battery- vechiles for students to go around the college

I'm an Mtech pursuing student of the College. For the Mtech admissions you need to qualify an exam called GATE. I had qualified the exam and scored 534 in General Category therafter you should face the common admission rounds called as CCMT (COAP for IIT)

All the teaching facilities are minimum PhD with several years of experience and several IEEE transaction papers to their name. The are well aware of the latest trends and schemes in the industry. The teachers are assisted by the PhD students as well.
