Remarks
Great crowd, undoubtedly the best in Delhi University. The idea revolves around the fact that since there's an entrance test, there's a further screening of the students on the basis of their aptitude. Each student comes here to learn a lot, to add a lot to their lives in terms of experiences and tangible things that matter in life, in terms of additions to one's CV. I'd never regret coming to this place to be honest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great. It's dynamic, and hence, it constantly evolves with changes in the business environment in and around the country. A lot of focus is laid on holistic development, whether it is through extra courses or competitions. The exam structure is comprehensively designed to make sure that tests aren't a burden but an actual assessment of the tangible skills which will help us in the future.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are something that the college has been known for ever since. Providing great placements at the end of graduation, makes us direct competitors with SRCC, the so acclaimed top DU college. The placement cell also offers internships for both first and second years, which is a huge thing. I'm still in my second semester and hence, haven't got the opportunity to intern as of now.
College Events
Our college has 3/+ societies, each of which conducts its annual events, which is a large scale event, having an average footfall of 500 people. Apart from this, our annual fest, Crescendo takes place late February and this year, it's all set to rock the DU feat season, where it witnessed Rahul Subramanian having a pre event show.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is feasible, governement funded and hence mostly affordable. Thbest in class infrastructure certainly calls for a huge fee, something that private colleges charge, except that's not the case.
Fees and Financial Aid
Special scholarships are available for students from minority communities which can be availed in case of need. As such, there are no scholarships on the basis of merit, in terms of top rank holders for the entrance test getting certain fee waivers, but the financially needy ones, do get the chance.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities are highly emphasized upon. Be it any field, you'll find a bunch of people working super hard in the same domain. The college proudly boasts the most successful debating society in the Delhi University circuit, IFSA India, and others to name just a few. Gender ratio is fairly even, making it a conducive space for everyone. There's no tolerance for ragging or any sort of harasment, which makes it a safe space. We have international students coming all the way from France, Kenya, Nepal and Afghanistan, to name just a few.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel again is beautiful. Best in class facilities, newly built rooms, fully maintained, with efficient weather control and all other basic facilities. It's only been 1 year since the hostel started operating and hence it seems like new to everyone.
Alumni/Alumna
Very well managed alumni network. There's a special cell to strengthen the alumni outreach. All major firms have the presence of our alumns, which makes the profeesional spread of word a lot smoother. Our alumns are reaching great places and hence the reputation only gets better and better.
Admission
Our college is one of the few colleges under Delhi University which offer management undergrad courses. The entrance to same is one the basis of DuJat, which is the joint entrance test, alongside 35% weightage of 12th board exams, maths compulsorily included.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified. We have teachers from top Bschools of the country. We have great visionaries in the power structure who are giving great guidance to the system. The overall review would be that the faculty is experienced and wholesome, thus resulting in a fruitful learning experience for the students.
