One of the best infrastructure and ample amount of opportunities in every field. You can persue you hobby as your main stream job from here. Though the fee is very high if we consider facilities provided here.

The main course is really interesting and informative. Exams are not too frequent. 4 labs a week 1 per day. The schedule is quite hectic. Don't get much time for other activities. 2 exams are held per semester

Placement here is really good but only for CSE and IT other than these it is quite disappointing as the package may be low or will be recruited in mass recruiting. Though college provides ample amount of opportunities for internship and foreign internships.

Fee structure is really expensive as per engineering course. For a year you have to give a huge amount of 3. 5lac tuition fee. And then there are again some internal expenses like registration fee etc etc.

If you get a rank under 1000 the. You will get a scholarship of 500000 and loan becomes quite mandatory for a guy from middle class family as the overall expense for 4 years would be around 2000000.

Sports, art, and other facilities are of class 1 category. Gender ratio is quite imbalanced. And the college is full of Bengalis you don't see much diversity. Some of the faculties are partial to the students from other region. Though cultural activities are very good.

The hostels here are huge and similarly expensive. There are 2 types of hostel A. C and non-A. C. they provide you with every thing in the room and security is good but some times feel a much as the last entry time is 6:30 pm. Meals are included in hostel fees.

The campus is antiragging campus and the seniors here are really helpful. They will guide you in every step when it's needed. The environment is quite friendly and joyful. Though don't try to argue or misbehave with any senior.

Interested in the course and one other most demanding one. I chose the college by my self. Gave the entrance exam and qualified it. Admission is totally on entrance exam with quotas for SC/ST and girls.

Faculties here are really good and experienced with some exceptions. Though many are quite biased towards the regional students and will feel communication gap while conversing. lab teachers are not up to the marks with being really short tempered.
