Remarks

I opt this college for excellent placement records. And also that there is no such only entrance based admissions. my college is strong at academics and works strictly according to the academic calendar. Resources are very much available such that we can increase our skills. The one change this degree will bring is that I have grown my skills and able to do a dream job.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently pursuing computer science and engineering. The learning opportunity is very much as the college provides numerous resources such as workshops, webinars etc. CSE has the highest package offers at this university. Academic and syllabus all are well planned and executed. There is one teacher to every 30 students in the university. Every student is guided and taken care of.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

Training is started in third-year for placement drives. Aptitude and soft-skills. And also technical subjects are taught us in boot camps. Our college provides resources for startup and patents. Our alumni guide us on how to prepare for placements.

Campus Life

My university conducts various fests and festivals, cultural programs, competitions and various other academic events. Sports is at another level in our university. There is a central library which has a wide variety of books and Journals. There are projectors in each and every classroom. Different labs for different subjects. There is also an Instagram page for our university.

Hostel Facilities

My university has a reputation in terms of hostel facilities. Hostels are simply awesome. The gym is there. Sports ground. Food canteens. Well maintained mess. Maintenance is best here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Placement Experience:

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
