I am studying B.tech in cse. The syllabus is though updated and they always keep track of latest technologies and teach things which meets current market demands. teaching i would say it as average as max teachers are Freshers and don't have much practical knowledge about their Fields. There are. 2 internal exams called as MSTs and college follow the relative marking schemes. Attendance is a big headache in this college.

Placement Experience

Placements on our college was so many of too companies are visiting our college highest package in our college 31 lpa and avg salary is 7 lpa, 90% of the students are placed in top companies and remaining students are looking into further studies.

College Events

Various cultural management festival carried out with very good management procedure. hackathon etc are some example. Various workshops are also provided along with guest lectures which are very helpful for the further studies and the improvement in the current academic. This universities also having various clubs which coordinates different different activities.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted for hostel facility. The hostel rooms are very clean and properly maintained. Electricity is available here. Water is also available. Mess food is also provided here which is very good but inside the campus non-veg food allowed.

Teachers are very helpful qualified knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Our university provide best platform to be placed in a various company. There are various industrial visit which will be provided by university which upgrade our skills.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
