Remarks

Our college faculty is not good otherwise our college is the best private law college & I am happy to be part of this family. You will never feel alone as it's a home away from home.

Entrance Preview

I had written SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test ) to get into symbiosis law college as I am interested in learning law and want to become the most known criminal lawyer in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is good as it includes law subjects as well as BBA subjects also I am interested in criminal law and in that subject the faculty is also good.

Internships Opportunities

I have done intern in 2 law firms and it was good I also got a stipend of Rs 4000 which also helped me to work hard and do my best there and college also helps us to get such good firms to work with.

Placement Experience

Placement is 70% and all good companies come to our college and the minimum basic placement is 5 lakhs which goes till 15 lakhs.

College Events

Our college has events throughout the year different kinds of events and one college fest which is the best part of our college life & even I am a member of the student council team who helps the college to conduct every event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a bit expensive as every year they keep o increasing the fee by 7% which is not feasible for every one of us and sometimes they increase the fee by 10% fees should be fixed I guess in every college let it be govt or private.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I don't have any idea regarding that I guess yes our college provides but never got to know anything in that matter till now.

Campus Life

Campus life is fun in our college its lively we have fun throughout the year and we study before exams and enjoy other by taking part in different sports competition such as debates.

Hostel Facilities

Our college does not have a hostel for boys but we do have a mess and the food there is pretty good with different of variety every day at a reasonable rate.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni network is very strong and every year there is alumni meet in our college which is very good for students in every alumni meet college provides us with some beautiful gifts.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is student-friendly it's not that difficult to get passing marks, I am happy with the exam structure and would like it to remain the same as it is.

KES Law College - a step towards your legal journey

Likes

Faculty is good. The teachings staff is approachable any time you want. They are well educated and most of them hold doctrate degrees.
The college has a canteen which offers good food at very nominal price
The campus is aur conditioned and every classroom is well designed to accommodate a batch of 80 students at once.

Dislikes

The non teaching staff or the visiting faculty is not approachable by the students.
The college doesn't have a uniform, which most law colleges have to maintain the ethics.
The timings of the college are very early. The lectures start at 7 am in the morning and 75% Attendance is compulsory which is extremely difficult for students in a professional degree to manage with internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Likes

Campus is Good and the placement offered is also good. Faculty is supportive
The best part os we have army retired persons as our instructors and wardens, which makes our discipline go well defined.
Well equipped gym and other facilities and all type of sports facilities Available

Dislikes

I dont like the fact that college changes its professors in a year span.
The area where the college is located is far away from pune which becomes a problem for students to go out.
Proper hospitals are not available nearby. For any serious or emergency medical facility, we have to travel 40 km atleast

Placement Experience:

Our college provides 100% placements. Students are provided with in house counselling sessions. Campus interviews takes place. Our top package last time was 18L per annum And we are still growing and has much more chances of improvement.

Eligibility of the course is to be- 12th Pass. Exam form and other details can be found at official symlaw website. The procedure to crack the exam is, firstly give SLAT the exam is of 60 marks, cut-off varies every year. If the required cut-off is cleared then the candidate has to give a WAT (Written Assessment Test) and also a PI (Personal Interview) which is conducted by the college itself.
