Remarks

SLAT - written; followed by PI-WAT. After clearing the written round, the shortlisted candidates have to book their slots for interviews. Henceforth appear for the PI-WAT process. Thereafter the final list of selected candidates is released.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

We have terms exams every 6 months. It is a 2-semester system. There are around 60 students per class. There are multiple faculties for each subject, hence the teaching system is diverse and adaptable as per students.

Internships Opportunities

5

We get good internship opportunities from college. The students have to apply through the placement cell. They are selected on certain prerequisites. The further process depends on each company/firm. The stipend is also dependant on the employer.

Placement Experience

5

The placement record of students is close to 100%. We get really good firms for placement in our college. Since the college also helps the students get internships, quite a lot of students get PPO as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in the first year were 3.10L. It can increase up to 10% per annum. At the instance of topping the semester, the student gets a Merit Scholarship. Further, there are subject-wise scholarships as well.

Campus Life

5

We have an annual college fest viz., SYMBHAV. The library provides all the academic material that is required for the students. The classrooms have all the basic amenities. There are multiple Committees and Cells for Extra & Co-Curricular Activities.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities are decent. 3 students stay in one room. We get breakfast, lunch, supper, and dinner. The registration process is quite simple. You've to approach the concerned authorities. Upon allocation of room, you've to make the payment and the room gets finalized.

Interview Experience

5

First I was asked to write an essay on "participation of women in politics". It was a part of the Writing Ability Test. There were many such topics. Then a personal interview was conducted on the same day. The questions were different for different students.

Trilegal, JSA, AZB, Tatva Legal and various other law firms from Mumbai itself offers us jobs worth 10 to 20 lakhs. In a cours where only a few colleges have placements ours is one of those. It has tie-ups with many lawyers and firms whichbare into litigation or arbitration.

The curriculum is extremely outdated. While NLU students are learning about law in thier first year itself, we have to wait till 3rd year for the same thing. A lot of students end up learning more at internships rather than at college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.
