Remarks

our university has all the advanced facilities of teaching as well as for other activities. I opt for this university because of the more placements and good opportunities for the internship programs. this degree and university change my whole life. The orientation program was conducted for the fresher in the university on the first day.

Course Curriculum Overview

Till now I have studied almost 20 subjects out which few are basic engineering subjects, few interdisciplinary and others are core electrical subjects. In the electrical engineering department in Chandigarh university have updated labs with advanced software and well qualified and experienced facility. The ratio of faculty per student in our university is 1/30.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

In Chandigarh University, multiple companies visit the campus for placements of the students and almost 95% of students of each course are placed every year. we are well trained for the campus placements, their extra class for this preparation. our university encourages the students for entrepreneurship and startups. Universities have strong alumni networks and alumni support junior in getting placed.

Campus Life

The campus life in Chandigarh university is very comfortable and the infrastructure of the university is very wide, all types of facilities are available in the university. All kinds of books and journals are available in the library of Chandigarh University.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Placement Experience:

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
