Entrance Preview

I did not give any entrance exam. I qualified on the basis of cut offs by DU. I scored 94.25% in twelfth grade. I opted for this college because I had no other better option than this college. Even after getting such good marks I had to settle with an average college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is a little tough. Just after passing senior secondary level of studies rises too much. It takes time to co-operate with such level. Subjects change in every semester. Plus this curriculum is somewhat same to CPT for CA.

Internships Opportunities

I am a first year student so I dont have much experience or knowledge about this section. But as far as I know placements are not so good amd stipend offered is very less.

Placement Experience

Placement cell of our college is below average. Very cew companies came to our college and not so renowned companies came. So obviously packages offered were not so good. Packages offered were between 1.5-3.5 lacs per annum. Being a first year student dont have much detail about it.

College Events

Sanskriti- It is the cultural fest of our college. Everyone dresses in Indian ethnics. Various programmes are held acknowledging our rituals and cultures. Soon there is going to be a commerce fest which is going to be really good I suppose.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. My course's fees is Rs 9230 per annum which is less than my monthly's school fees. It is very affordable. But getting into DU is not easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

If I do well in my studies I get a scholarship of around 1.5K. Which is good because very few colleges give scholarships. There are many scholarships offered by our college on various grounds. I dont know about any loan facility.

Campus Life

Campus life is very boring. Gender ratio must be 60:40 boys to girls. Various workshops are held regarding personality development, placements, career development. Politics of our college is very strong and students involve alot in these. Students from all class of the society come here.

Hostel Facilities

My PG is near north campus. Monthly rental comes around 14000. Food is good. I live with 3 more students from different colleges.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exam structure was chilled out. Had enough time to prepare for exams. Sitting area was very conjusted though. Otherwise scheduling was above average.

Faculty of our college is average. Some teachers are very good and some are not so good. Or maybe it is the way of my understanding. Teachers are interactive and helping.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

A decent truthful facts.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills.Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first,earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
