My course was for a period of four years holding a full-time graduation degree with 8 semesters. It mainly focused on the creation of fashion and comprehensive learning. It offers specializations in Ethnic wear, Women’s wear, Men’s wear etc.

Placement Experience

The college has a placement cell, so the interested students can contact them for jobs as they suggest good companies with high stipends and a better future. The college also offers internship programs in many companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course fee was a bit expensive but it provided us with world-class design education. It aims at fostering strategic design unlike other colleges. The grand total of my course fee was INR 18 LAKHS. The course fee is justified as it gives a practical exposure over the subjects.

Campus Life

The college offers sports & entertainment with various indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football etc for a healthy competitive environment. It has a hygienic cafeteria with a stationary shop and regularly held workshops which provides students with accurate hands-on experience.

Admission

I got admission in this college by passing my 12th examination with a minimum of 50% marks in any stream. Later, I filled an online application form which you can fill offline too. I even gave an offline entrance exam.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is really amazing and helps you to become a stylist, fashion editor, an illustrator etc. The faculty of the college helps the students to be prepared for a dynamic and fast paced industry.

My amazing experience in parul

Placement Experience:

They have tie ups with major big companies like Armani, reliance, Godrej and and many more. From 3rd students becomes eligible for Campus placements Minimum packages is 7,00,000 lakhs and highest is 14,00,000 98% is the placement rates as some also go for masters Most of the students get placement through the internship only and and rest of the students get help from the college if they want to go for another company

The placement of my college is good sometimes getting 100% . Well known companies such as nykka, Zara, Levi''s have made offers. As for the highest package, it went about 40 lpa and the average is 7 lpa . My plans after the degree is to search for jobs asap

from 6th semester we are eligible for placement, it is mainly for graduation project but they also provide ppo to some students. some companies include retailers like tanishq, aditya birla retail, arvind and tata trent. almost around 80% students get placed every year. my plan after graduation is to work for a few years and then apply for masters.

Nid follows a old style curriculum which has its own pros and cons. Here we prefer sticking to the basics in the beginning we believe in building our base rather than rushing. Remarks:

They need to install streetlights till the new hostel building as it does get creepy and we did have few accidents during the night time. They need to change the girls hostel main gate security from old men to really young guy men who can actually run after goons when they harass or catcall the girls.

There are 3 stage process of admission. First it is written test. Once we get selected from 1st stage then come situation test and interview. I applied to ISDI,MIT ADT,Pearl Acadeamy,Rubika,MIT ujjain other than UID....and also got the offer letter from all trhe institutes ...but why i chose UID over all was the thought that UID is more heard of than the rest of them and it is also away from home ,,,it is just because of the awesome marketing of the college...Even my institue where I went to prepare for NID were promoting UID ...at that time i thought it is a really reputed college ...but at the end its all business...Read More

Really helpful

The admission process was quite easy, you just needed to give one entrance there were some passing marks which are different for every year. Once you pass the entrance exam they call you for the interview round on the date you select. You need to show your portfolio (whatever good work you have). Then they announce the result via your registered mail. Other than this admissions forms are announced on their official site. It's mostly in the month of December. Best design college which helped me grow into a successful professional

The eligibility for the course is 12th with 60% of marks. Plus, I appeared for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), ST, and Portfolio Evaluation Test.
