Review on my college experience

I think college is quite a wonderful place and I highly recommend it.

Academics of this college is really good. A minimum attendance of 75% is compulsory. Also if a student has attendance below 60% he/she is made to pay a fine. The college is pretty strict for their attendance. The quality of teaching is no doubt good and there are many experienced teachers here. The college also prepares the students for real-life industry problems as well as the study is indeed job-ready.

The placements of the college are good. The average salary offered is 3-4lakhs p.a. The computer and Its department are offered better salaries than Core department. Many students also choose to do MS after their degree or MTech as well.

Annual Technlogical Fest- Tesseract, Annual cultural fest- Zyzzva, Freshers, Farewell. And other events like seminars and conferences are held as well. Many eminent personalities come to our college to perform and also some famous industry people visit our college to give a lecture on various topics like AI, machine learning etc to the students.

The college feed is around 4.8lakhs for the 4-year course and is average, not too high neither too less. And I think that the fees are quite reasonable compared to the quality of education received here which is very good. There is no additional fees or charges had to be paid to secure an admission.

Yes, a tuition fee waiver is offered especially only to backward class students and to the girl. Students.30%-40% off on the total fee was granted.

The campus life at college is really fun. There is a cultural event which is celebrated with great enthusiasm. And also the technological fest was way too great because many inter-college students participated all over the city. There are also various delicious food stalls during the fest as well which adds to its mesmerising beauty.

College seniors in our college were very helpful. They gave us the opportunity to work with them as volunteers in tests and assist in many events which happened thoroughly the year in our college.

I got into this college by giving WBJEE entrance exam. After going through counseling I opted this college. I visited the college and locked my seat. I saw the administration was good and Infrastructure was good as well. After the counseling process I had to revisit my college for further admission process like filing up my forms and course.

The teaching methodology is mostly case-based and fosters parallel thinking from an engineers perspective for all the engineering students Faculty of gnit is very approachable, open to feedback and puts in extra efforts to solve students quarries. Guest lectures are also conducted so that students can easily relate the theory that is taught in classes with the working of Job world.
