College review

My college is good. The environment is also good. They teach us to be independent strong and able wemen since we are an all girls college. The teachers are good. The non teaching staffs are th best we could as for. And the students are also friendly and good

The course is good and everything can't be perfect so it has its own negative things. In one word it's a good course. Exams weren't hectic for me because I'm an arts Student and indont have lab. If for a science student I guess it's hectic for them as they habe lots of lab sessions and experiments to do. But for ky course it's not that hectic. We just have an internship program in second year and teaching in 3rd year as in we reach french to our juniors who have opted french as second language from other departments.

Yes l they provide internships. It's part of our syllabus also not for every departments, it depends. For my course we had to go to travel agency and work for two weeks and do a reasearch andnl experience and do a project about It and apar from that we get other opportunities to conduct job fair and do for paid internships from the college where we went to a cruise to work as interns, it was a paid internship.

First when the frenshers come to loosen them up we have talents day where they show case there talents department wise. Then we habe the election to elect the college union, then the artsc club inauguration, college inauguration, union inauguration, then we have our own festival celebration like onam, diwali, Chouristmas. Onam was only for the college, diwali was open to the public it was really good and packed we had outsiders as well as the exchange students from the exchange students program. And we have a mega event in our college called the teresian week which is pretty epic and big in our college, were lots of bands and actors and artists come and show case there talents, the event is basically a competition between first years, second years, third years and pg students. We have it for a week thouree days for individual events and thouree days for on stage events. Then we have lots of clubs in our college. This uesr we introduced the under25 summit to thour college. It's a summit program where some speakers artist etc come and talk the upcoming youth to overcome struggle and how they reached to a place where they are now. They'll talk about there experience and put up a show for us it was also a pretty big event. And then we have college day for giving out the scholarship and stuffs. And then graduation farewell day. We also have department fest like french fest, panam etc which are conducted by dept department which are pretty famous. As french student I will explain about the french fest, this was the 10th year we are conducting it. I was one of the heads of the fest. It's a fest for inter school and collegiate level. It's mainly conducted to give awareness about thour language we are studying and it's scope. It's an district level fest. We invite all the schools and colleges for various competitions.

The fee structure is pretty expensive for the self financing students We have regular students and self financing students. For regular students fees is pretty less. And for the other students fees is a bit expensive like for my course it was around 45000 something for one year. It varies according to the subject you've taken.

Well I was part of the college union 2018-19, and yes there are scholarships which really help some students who have financial needs. And there are about four or five scholarships given to students. There scholarship are given to each department according to the information the college get from the head of thour department.

Yes we have lots of workshops for our college as well as mixed in the sense outsiders will also be there. We have many clubs that gives jobless people work like the Trop club which collects waste cloth materials and makes beautiful hand bags, grocery bags, pencil pouch, wallets etc. We have media club where each week we collect the things the college has conducted, and all the achievement of that week and we record it like news and post it in YouTube weekly. We give students the opportunity tomreach news and be in the channel. We habe library team who putnin lots of effort to make library a great space for other students, we also have digital library. We have women cell, grievance cell, counselling sessions, the college union who dies all the college works day and night, we have sports day where we rent a stadium and have competition year wise and even the teachers have there competitions.

The seniors we had were the best, at first when we came they were all grumpy and silent to us but as months pass by they were really healpful and friendly. We really had a good bonding with them and we still do. They come to colege and visit us and the department teachers. We ask them about ehatbthey did next and they help to us tske decision since they did the same course as we did.

I opted for this course because I wanted to study french and it's a good language and back in school it was my second language so I had an interest for this subject. I chose this institution because it was well known and they support and upbring girls inna way that make thek independent and helps them know their streghts and bring them out to be strong women to be well off in this world. I got admission thourough management quota.

Well the faculties are really good. Well there are some people who aren't that desireful in teaching bitnits their livelihood so they have to do it. As a whole I would say that our teaching and non teaching facilities are the best. We have around 4 teachers to teach our subject. Our Head of department she has been in the department for 25 now and is our class teacher. We have a foreign faculty in our department since we our course in french. We habe a french lady who is our teacher she is 45 years old and did FLA in France. Then we habe nsother teacher in her 40s who did MA in french and the last teacher she also studied in our same college then went to another college to MA since our college don't provide MA in french and she in her 30s. They teach us pretty well and help us according to our needs and level
