I'm studying history bachelor programme which is purely out of interest . As we all know history doesn't leave us many scopes but compared to other colleges, this college prepares us for better opportunities through value classes including archaeology etc and also internship. They provide with constant field trips also which is inevitable for a history student. Thus we can study our past by seeing it and sensing it.

Course is little bit difficult to learn but teachers are really helpful with that. If one fails for the exams, teachers personally call that child and help her with the portions without any hesitation

There are placement opportunities provided for the final years. Mainly the recruiters are from IT companies and they only require candidates from a computer science background but they do include other departments for the initial process. Only one department gets 100% placements. The highest package that came to our college was 3.3L. In conclusion, placement opportunities are poor for most of the departments. Since the curriculum itself is outdated, the job opportunities after graduation are poor. The placement cell will ask the student to register for the opponents for a certain amount units. Kindly do not register as these opportunities are shared in the main group.

When I completed the course I was awarded Degree in Computer Application, Mathematics and Statistics which increased my opportunities when compared to a graduate of BCA or BSc Mathematics. Our class consisted of 29 students from both Computer Science and Biology Science backgrounds. Our Department consisted of 7 professors, who were proficient in their field. All the Associate Professors had completed their Post Graduation. They taught us, not lectured but taught us. They put their maximum effort into completing the syllabus on time, giving us samples & previous year's question papers and taking regular tests and thus tracking our studies. Since it is an Autonomous institution's exam schedule was followed correctly hence the results of each semester were out within 2 weeks from the start of the next semester.

Students are eligible for campus placement if they have cracked 2/3 of the semesters. Most of the companies that visit the students of the Zoology stream are Medical or chemical firms. They offer placements with an average salary of 10000/-. While some of the students decide to accept the job, others prefer to do a Master's degree or some other diploma courses.
