Once a Teresian, alway's a Teresian.

The course BSc Computer application was a Triple main ( Mathematica, Statistics and Computer) course but it stoped now, because of FYUGP however the scope of course was high because after this you can turn to any of the majors in your carrier path. the curriculum was bit low for us but juniors have much better curriculum.

The College itself do not provide internship oppurtunities , i dont know about other departments but in computer application department they dont provide intership. they gave us workshop mock interview and many other things instead of internship. we need to find an internship ourselves.

The college has a cell called placement cell from where we get notified about the recruitments , the college supports placements but it also depends on your performance too. companies like accenture came.the last two years our department had 100% placement.

Total course fee is 166640/- including tution, miscellaneous , special fees and insuarance across 6 semesters with a one-time caution deposit. semester 1 has highest fee at 42,712/-, which includes tution fee, caution deposit and so on. semester 2, 4 and 6 include only tution fee which is 20050/- . the miscellaneous fee is 10,599 which is applied on semesters 1,3 and 5. special fees vary sligthly , ranging from 1095/-, 1748/-.

The colleges famous programe is the Teresian Week its an one week long programes where the The diiferent years of UG and PG's compete. The college also have very nice library, Library is one of the best place in STC. we have physical education department where it promotes sports activity for example lastyear we conducted an intercollege program called soapy football which was fantanstic sucess.

From the informations from my freind The room facilities are enough , we have two college hostels one near to main block and the other with center block. The food is also good enough. The hostel is not much affordable to my friend. so she moved to pg later.

I applied other colleges like Sacred Hearts , Maharajas etc. I received the first call from St Teresa's , I knew a senior who studies the same course i contacted her and made the decision to join here , Here we have lot of freedom because it's a women's college. In the admission process we need to submits the documents also I had an interview with department faculties.

The faculties in my department, computer application department are really very kind and helpfull. there are plenty of facultie but most of them are beginners or freshly joined. In our department there many good faculties many of them left because got other oppurtunities so the remaining best faculty i would say is Mrs Raji S Pillai, She is really supportive and more like a friend. The internal exams are really easy if you prepare enough the semester exams need much more attention but an average student can easily score good marks.

At the time of my admission I only had an interview I didnt face a written test. The process include document verification and all. The interview round was simple one just simply prepared not a tough one.

The main place which are famous include "America", "The Elysium". we can workout in the physical education department college have facilites there. Iam a day scholar so from my friends the hostel life is Ok-Ok. The college also coundts some programes which longs upto 8pm mostly held in Elysium.
