The college professors were great, however the non teaching staff, that is those sitting in the office who manage fees, results, etc.were inefficient and sometimes rude.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes the curriculum was great and every class used to be very interactive. Great professors, too. However there was no campus placement until last year, but have heard from current students that they've started campus placements since becoming a autonomous body last year.
Placement Experience
There was no placement on campus until last year, however the Student General Body did get in touch thourough companies for recruitment and anyone interested was added in whatsapp groups and the recruitment proceeded from there. Some of the companies were Viacom18, Teach for India, etc
College Events
Kaleidoscope is the biggest fest of the college, wherein a week is spent on pre selections for the main events and the main days of festivals go on for 3 days with many big sponsors every year and many bollywood movie actors also come to promote their movies prescient at that time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very feasible, there are also scholarships for girls and lower income families. The additional charges after admission are only for ID cards and library memberships which is mandatory regardless of someone wanting to use the library facilities or not. The fees as I recall was around ?150. Yes it does provide a breakdown of fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I did not. So I do not know much about it and wouldn't be able to write much on it as required for it be at least of 100 characters.
Campus Life
Campus is very pretty and it's an only women's college which is stated in the name itself. So no gender ratio to mention there. Extracurricular was great for people interested in sports, they had all kinds of sports from fencing to football to volleyball to chess and also there was a gym in the college.
Hostel Facilities
No I have not but for those wanting to opt for hostel there are only limited seats and they are given based on merit and an entrance exam which is just for admission in the hostel. The annual fees is around ?75000. Extra 400-600 a month if they want to avail the Wi-Fi facility. Each room is shared by 2 students consisting of 2 single beds.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors are helpful and approachable. The professors had also initiated a buddy system, wherein weak students who need help with studies could approach the seniors and they would sit after class and solve their problems. A senior and junior were buddied up till the junior needed help. This was based on availability and whichever senior volunteered themselves for the buddy system.
Admission
It's a good college in Mumbai for anyone wanting to pursue Psychology and English Literature. Admission was thourough online and offline form filling and then waiting for the merit list, after securing a seat there is submitting of remaining documents and admission fees and that's it.
Faculty
