My course involves different subjects like journalism, graphic designing, photography, styling, direction and a lot more which helps the students to choose from a wide variety of options. Industrious visits were organised to a printing press to understand the working of designing and printing the newspapers

Yes its compulsory to do a summer internship in 3rd year and a graduation project internship in the last year. Placements can be improved by the college

Spectrum a cultural fest is celebrated every year where students from and college are allowed to participate and converge a sports cultural and literary fest is organised where in all centres of nift participate and is held every year which helps in interacting with people all over the nift centres

Male female ration is 20-80. Extra curricular activities are maintained pretty well. Inter college and intracollege fest take place every year where in the faculties support the students to take part and give their best. Each and every festival is celebrated in the college

Yes, girls hostel is very good doesn’t feels like a college hostel all the facilities are provided with 100% security. The rooms are very well organised the staff is very kind and the washourooms and water facility is very good

Filled an entrance exam form and gave a written test which comprised of 2 parts:- GAT AND CAT, and then the short listed students went to Round 2 where we have to give a situation test where 3d modelling is involved after that overall rank is calculates and according to that centres are alloted thourough counselling

Faculty

The faculty of the college is easy to approach and friendly and mostly they are very young which makes it easy for the students to convey their thoughts and ideas as they are updated with the recent trends rest faculties are friendly and try to connect with students

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

The real designing college

Placement Experience:

College placements are good enough. A whole week is dedicated to that. Students get enough opportunities throughout the course and are offered jobs in 4th year. Even after that if placement hasn't happened, the college faculties have enough contacts.

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

The reason i chose this college is first, because of its location in himachal. second the goverment institute provide perks which were not there in private institutes. NIFT Delhi - A total walkthrough

I had applied for CEED and didn't qualify. And in NIFT exam I secured the rank 30 and got nift delhi as its the best campus of all over nift. I took this campus. You need to complete any bachelor's background for this exam. They only accept nift entrance scores. Admission experience is pretty smooth as everything is online. And cutoffs varies every year. I didn't apply for any other colleges. I just got to know about nift only. I just wanted to pursue my career in arts and fashion. Also if I would have known about NID I might applied for that only. Because the product designing I'm doing here is way better there than here. Also to get into NIFT Delhi's B.Des. (Accessory Design) program, you'll need to ace the entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Life in NIFT

Nift is a government College and the fee for it is the least compared to the other fashion colleges. I didn't not apply to even a single other college since I thought I'll just give it a try and fortunately I got in in the first go itself. But I did apply for the uceed exam , my score was 50 marks less and I couldn't make it for that exam . The uceed exam was way tricky than the nift entrance. Nift has a simple admiss Process, you apply for the exam. You give the CAT and GAT exams which are scheduled on the same day itself of 2hrs and 3hrs respectively. Cat is the drawing exam and the gat is for the science maths gk social science etc knowledge test. After you pass this exam then you get selected for the situation test which is a studio based test where you get the materials and 3hrs and you have to then make something with the give material and the provide topics. Then you get a rank Accor to which you sit for the counselling and get the admission in one of the 19 campus in india...Read More
