Remarks

If one wants to get a wholesome experience of studying with students from various parts of the country and to enjoy the cultural nuiances at the heart of Tamil Nadu then this the best University to study. With a wide variety of courses and experienced faculty we can thourive in this environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course Curriculum is kind of hectic as theory and lab are given equal importance followed by projects and seminars. Research is main focus of the entire curriculum as we have mini and main projects in final year that focus only on research. Exams are standard stuff with timely internals as well as externals with good internal, external ratio. Results are also published within a month of the examination.

Placement Experience

3

Placement cell gives enough opportunities for those who want to pursue a career. No internships or stipend is given to any student except the scholars. If we want to go to internships outside the Faculty will kindly give their reference and recommendation that is very important for getting into IITs or NITs for internship.

College Events

4.5

We celebrate a lot of events in the University which includes the annual event Aaramb and other events associated with festivals like Onam, Pongal, Diwali, Holi, etc. Annual Interdepartmental sports and games meet is conducted every year. Technical events such as workshops, seminars and paper presentation are conducted along with quiz, debugging completions. Also food fest is conducted regularly to increase the comradrie of students and faculty.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. It only costs 7510 rupees in total including Student welfare fee, lab/library fee and tuition fee per semester. Also hostel fee per semester is Rs1500, this is very cheap. The mess fee is separate like most of the Universities and we have to pay like Rs 75 per day for food.

Fees and Financial Aid

All scholarship given by the Central and state governments can be availed here. Also private schorships can also be received. The University does not give any special incentive but encourages us to apply for other scholarships and funded projects and any technical issues are immediately solved by the admin.

Campus Life

5

We celebrate a lot of events in the University which includes the annual event Aaramb and other events associated with festivals like Onam, Pongal, Diwali, Holi, etc. Annual Interdepartmental sports and games meet is conducted every year. Technical events such as workshops, seminars and paper presentation are conducted along with quiz, debugging completions. Also food fest is conducted regularly to increase the comradrie of students and faculty. Boys and girls equally participate in all the programs.

Hostel Facilities

4

All are given hostel accomodation. Hostel has an incredible infrastructure. We have 4 hostel in total. 2 for boys and 2 for girls and another building separate for Scholars. 2 hostel are being constructed as of now. The hostel provides 24 hour drinking water and normal water is also available 24 hours. It is cleaned regularly so hostel is very clean including the toilets and bathouroom. Has a separte area fir washing and drying the clothes. Also has Free wifi services thouroughout the day for reserach and project purposes.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors have helped me to cope with the syllabus and curriculum. They had given me advice and notes to help me study. They also explained how to approach the course and what are various avenues near by the University thag I could explore for gaining experience and how to apply for internships outside and develop my CV and to encourage me to participate in activities. They were a lot of help. We always communicated with them whenever we can.

Admission

I wrote the CUCET entrance exam for Central Universities in India. I chose this course as this can give me high milage in my career. The course has syllabus that is suitable for a career in IT as well as Reasearch. An equal importance is given in the syllabus for both. During project cutting edge technology like AI, blockchain, Data analatics etc. are done as research works and they are published in journals and reputed conferences.

Faculty

4

Faculty are highly qualified. All of them including most of the contract faculty have PhD in the subject and sufficient experience. They teach according to syllabus and guidelines given by the academic council and ugc.

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
