A good place to study, but no room for extracurricular activities and celebrations. Also the college is more strict compared to the surrounding colleges and won't host any inter college events expect placement drives.
Course Curriculum Overview
The university to which the college is afflicted is not that great, it's also mandatory that all engineering colleges in Kerala must be afflicted to KTU, the don't have proper curriculum and the syllabus is outdated.So our college is planning to be a autonomous college.
Placement Experience
We have a good number of placed students every year, last year 330+ students where placed from the college in MNC's like Infosys TCS Wipro etc.The College provide may opportunities for the students to get placed in core companies
College Events
Viswajoythi is not that great for celebration, this college mostly focus on the academics. But there are tech fest and art and sports days, but the primary importance here is given for studies.Also the college management is not willing to spend too much money in non academic activities
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure have been dropped from 75000 per year to 50000 per year due to the poor demand of btech all across the country, I this the infrastructure the provide for 50000 is good and worth the money
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college provide various scholarship for talented students, the are more that 3 students in every class who in studying in scholarships, so they only have to pay the fees to the university which is around 3500 per year.Also the college helps in applying for other government scholarships.
Campus Life
The labs in Viswajoythi are of top class, nothing to complain about the labs, we have labs which has a 3D printer and students are free to use it for there main projects. But the extracurricular activities are not great here.
Hostel Facilities
We have very good hostels for both boys and girls, both are inside the college campus itself. student only take 2 or 3 minutes to reach from the hostel to the college. But I have heard that the food in girls hostel is not that great where food in boys hostel is fine.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes we have a very large alumni association which regularly conducts meeting and other associated program. Also this alumnis help in increasing the exposure of the college to placement. Also the provide workshop and guidance to the juniors
Admission
On basics of entrance score and sorting that the put down a list and choose the students from it and asked them to join in management quota where student is required to pay fees to both college and University
Faculty
All the faculties are good and they do there duties well, the college consider highly qualified personalities as faculties also the do constant filtering process to make everything work well.Both the teaching and non-teaching staffs are well dedicated.
