The course curriculum is really well designed for the best education possible for a student. In 1st year there are 4 subjects per semester which increases a general knowledge and revises the basics learnt in higher secondary. In 2nd year the subjects start to deal with the core electronics. The modules are divided into small parts for better learning. Every subject is made easy by the faculties.

The placement percentage of our university is the best in the eastern region amongst other private universities. Institution provides special courses for students which help them in placements of the students. These courses are based on the recent market needs.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology hosts different events every year. The KIIT fest is the biggest event that holds every year. Fest is organized by the 2nd-3rd year students. Top music artists from India come every year to perform. Many individual cultural clubs also make events for students to participate. There many technical societies in Kiit that holds special events for students to participate. Hundreds of students participate in this fest.

The fee structure is a little expensive for upper middle class families. The college fees are to be paid by the end of the semester. There is no pressure to pay the amount at the beginning only. The student gets 6 months to pay for the fees. The college accepts online payment, neft. Only at the beginning of admission extra Rs 75000 is to be paid which is later used to buy high tech laptops. The university provides full transparency in the fee breakdown.

College offers scholarship for 3 branch toppers. The average scholarship is 10000 rupees. The scholarship is not given cash in hand or cheque but is deducted from the institution fees.

The campus life is really good. Everyone is friendly. The campus is couple friendly. The campus is lush green. There are many international students and also students from other colleges. Each campus has 3 security guard at the entrance which provides security for every student. There are 2 football fields 3 basketball court for each department. There are courts for tennis, badminton, hockey. We have a whole students activity centre. The campus life is balanced in Sports, Technology and Cultural activities.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. It is a ragging free hostel. The 1st year hostel is totally separate from senior hostel. The rooms in the hostel are quite spacious. There are options for ac or non ac hostels with or without attached bathourooms which have extra costs. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The bathourooms are kept clean. Every hostel has 3 wardens who constantly take care of everyone in the hostel. The mess food is healthy and quite up to the mark and also has many varieties.

Senior students helps the junior students in every way possible whether they are institutional or extra curricular. The allumni network are always there to help the juniors.

I got admission thourough KIITEE. It occurs every year at the time of May. The exam is based on basics of 12th and 11th standard. After I passed the exam they call each day upto a certain rank for admission and choosing their stream in this university. I chose electronics and electrical stream (EEE). The electronics department is one of the highest rated streams of this university. The faculties are really good and helpful to the students.

The faculty of my university is one of the best. They are either former IITans or NITans. Everyone are really good at their respective subjects. The teachers are really friendly and help us by providing their time apart from college hours. The teachers make presentations for making the students understand better. Techers sometimes speak in native languages to the students to be friendly with them.
