Remarks

Academic wise the college is very good. The college is providing quality education for all students since 2002. The only problem with the college is the college management. The college management treat students as if their jail people. There is absolutely no freedom for the students in the college. There is no right of speech for students in the hostel. Apart from the hostel the college is good. But if if the hostel is also taken into consideration college is very poor because it does not provide any sort of rights, do they send students outside on Sundays.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The syllabus of course that I study is know exactly research driven and fair, its based rote learning. The curriculum is not going to provide industry specific knowledge for students, which may be helpful for campus placements. How was the college makes it mandatory for students to attend classes and internships to get basic industry knowledge.5 days are allotted by the college for industrial visits which is actually very minimum 7 days required for industrial visits but they only provide 5 days for the students.

Placement Experience

3.5

A lot of companies visit our institution for placements most of the companies are Infosys Cognizant Tata consultancy services, Wipro etc. The companies basically have a requirement UP basic requirement for students for them to select students. Some of those conditions may be raja student may not have any back log in any papers and the students must have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 etc. the institution takes special steps to prepare students for the placement season, Our college conducts placement training classes for students from semester 4 onwards to train students for placement.

College Events

2.5

We do not have separate technical and cultural events in our college, but we do have techno cultural event which is called Tharang. that event is the most liveliest event in the whole college. There are no other events which competes with the fest. There are no management festivals in our college. Student participation is actually very good in the colleges for the programs. Students usually participate in really use numbers for the techno cultural festival. But students participate in very large numbers for arts day or sports day. The reason is because students wont participate in these events because they are conducted in holidays and the most of the students want to go home during the holidays that is why they don't participate in arts day or sports day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is actually quite feasible for me. The fee comes around 45000 Indian rupees and modes that are accepted by the college are bank cheque, cash, DD, chellan, network online payments. there are additional fees that should be paid in order to secure the admission into the college. The college provides transparency in breakdown. The fee breakdown is provided in the college website.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any scholarship for educational loan ok, but there are some students who have opted for the scholarship and scholarship is is given to them provided the conditions.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is quite dull because there are a lot of extra curricular activities happening in the college. The gender ratio is okay, there are no cultural societies there are no student dorm parties. Once in a while we have workshops at our college, but there still once in a while. There is a good religious tolerance between students and the economic status of the students is not that visible because we have uniforms in the college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Yes I have opted for the hostel. The hostel rooms pretty much small for engineering students. For junior students there are thouree people in one room and it is quite comfortable for them, but for senior year onwards it is quite difficult for students as its two students in one room and the room is very small. The hostel is a place with absolutely no freedom at all. The management doesn't even let students go out on Sundays. That's how pathetic the condition in the hostel is. There is absolutely no religious freedom for Catholic students studying in the college, staying in the hostel. They force Catholic students to attend masses against their will. If they are questioned back they will mentally suppress the student and make sure the student never questions them again. This affects the mental life of the student. If the student states that he is an atheist there is no place for him in the hostel and he is dismissed immediately. This hostel does not also allowed the use of mobile phones. The high court of Kerala gave a verdict that it is illegal to seize a phone from a student. This college clearly does not follow that rule and still scrutinizes students for using phones. I myself am a victim of the mental torture faced by the management of the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is very strong, the senior students are also very very very helpful students. Since there is no ragging in the college, there is a healthy relationship between the juniors and the seniors. Alumini comes once in a while to give stocks on their work experiences and share important contacts with us to improve a professional network.

Admission

I got admission in this college via the entrance examination. An entrance examination is conducted in the state for engineering opting students and the rank of obtained from the examination and the class 12 marks is taken and a list is created and rank list is formed and students selected on basis of rank list for the management quota. Some of the factors that made me to this institution are that if has NBA accredited courses and is also NAAC accredited.

Faculty

4.5

There are about 40 to 50 lectures teaching us. Their average age is 40 to 45 and all the teachers hold a basic masters degree in engineering. Assistant professors have masters in engineering degrees and associate professor have a PhD and our head of the department has PhD too. To my knowledge I don't know if any of the lecturers hold industrial experience or certifications probably they may have industry experience.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
