Remarks

The positive thing is that our college have very good resources but the negative thing is that noone uses those. I mean the resources need tobe used by the students but the students don't show enthusiasm in this type of things and another thing is we don't have any proper club/societies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college follows the course and curriculum of makaut so according to me the curriculum is okish but it would be better if they can introduce more stream specific subjects in first year rather than basic science subjects. We have 4 internals and semester system which will give a final CGPA.

Placement Experience

For this year the placement ratio is good like most of the students of CSE, ECE and IT got placed. Very less core companies come to college. And our college always insist us to apply for internships in apps like internshala and etc.

College Events

Bihaan: Fresher's welcome. Regalia: The annual 3 days cultural fest of RCCIT. Techtrix: This is one of the biggest techfest in kolkata with prizes more than 3 lacs. G.O.T: This is one of the biggest inter college sports fest. Krirathon : Intra college sports Fest. Sharade : Our own college swaraswati pujo organized by our dear 1st year students followed by some cultural program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I know in kolkata our fees is the most feasible we pay near about Rs 40000 per semester and a Rs 1000 for 3 different fest. You can pay in both online and offline mode as your wish. This includes all types of fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Different types of loan facilities are available that are offered by government for more details you have to contact college office and as most of the colleges we also have TFW quote where the tuition fee is waived off.

Campus Life

Mostly we have worshops once in a month. Till now we don't have any proper coding club or rather we don't have any clubs but it's under processing and will start working very soon. Our college always encourage us to participate in other college events in both cultural and technical.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not available in our college if you have come from outside kolkata you have to opt for local PGs and we have canteen but it is not recommended rather there are many food stores near college which serves really good food.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college seniors are the most helpful batch we have ever come across. They will help you out in all possible ways be it personal or professional. This boost your motivation to a different help and they are always free for their juniors event after such hectic schedules.

Admission

I got admission via WBJEE allotment process depends on the rank in WBJEE exam. Once you got your allotment letter you have to visit college and provide basic documents like adhaar card, birth certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheets and etc to process further.

Our faculties are very helpful and they always try to help you out with as many resources as possible. You just have to stick to your decision and the college will definitely help you out. Most of our faculty members believe in interactive studies which make it more easy for students.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

I applied for Netaji Subhas Engineering College (NSEC) and also got confirmed admission but its fees structure was 15-20% higher than my current college RCCIIT & also it was very less accessable and had no hostel facilities. I choosed this college because it is autonomous and government run by the State of West Bengal and is affordable and also has good accessability with satisfactory placement report . Yes i got rejection from some other colleges ,i didnt make it due to my WBJEE rank being not any good .My score was below their cutoff You can join RCCIIT by WBJEE counselling through your JEE or WBJEE scores .Almost 80% students are inducted through WBJEE and 20% is left for JEE students .College has no management quota .The cutoff for WBJEE for RCCIIT starts from 10,000 for CSE and runs upto 90,000 for Electrical Engineering...Read More
