Remarks

Overall, if you are a average student and want to study in global class college and have a good diversified exposure, LPU is the right place to be in at minimal cost.

Entrance Preview

I have Appeared for AIEEE ( rank 1,50000), EAMCET(36250). Apart from this i have scored 93 % in my 12th class. I opted this collage because this college provided me the scholarship based on my 12th percentage. For a fee structure of 170000 i got a scholarship of 100000.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum was good the curriculum was semester based. Each year there were 2 semester which have Mid-sems and end term. Each year the the subjects are divided on both difficulty and subject matter. Subjects include general engineering in 1st year, later communication related subjects pour in.

Internships Opportunities

Usually the students have to search on their own for internships. We have to apply for the internship with the organization in which you are going to take intern. There are certain guidelines and condition which has to met to seek a permission to do the intern ( Preferably PSUs and government organizations). Otherwise most of the students do capstone project which is same as in-house intern.

Placement Experience

4

The most significant fact of this college is the placements. for my batch on Day 1, Cognizant recruited about 327 students from ECE,CSE branches taken together. in which i was also a part. HCL, L&T Infotech etc were the top recruiters. Even for the offcampus drives the college keeps on posting the students about the event and places and intimates them to attend.

College Events

4.5

Event are best being celebrated in LPU. One India, One World, Youth Vibe and numerous national level events are organized in the college. One world is a event in which people from all the states of the country represents their states decorated in stalls. One World is representing different countries from which there are students in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee Structure is very feasible, as it is merit based. The fees was 1,70000 for 1 year (2 semesters). As i was a scholarship holder my fees structure was as below: 20,000 per semester tuition fees +1000 Exam fees. Overall if you are scholarship holder the fees in very nominal, but if you are a not, then its little bit more if quality of education is taken into consideration.

Fees and Financial Aid

On the basis of your performance in the entrance tests or in the 12th exams. For 90% and above the scholarship was 50 thousand per semester (1 lakh per year). Similarly for less than 90% but more than 80% the scholarship is 80,000 per year for less than 80% but more than 70% the scholarship is 60,000 per year.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is awesome. The campus is spread in 600 acres. There are students from 29 states,28 countries in the campus which motivates to interact and different people. the gender ratio was quite good 60:40. There are various events noth technical and non technical like robotics, go karting etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilties are best you can bet for. There are separate boys and girls hostels in the premises both the hostels are divided into seater(occupancy). 1/2/3/4 seater based on your convenience and cost. There are separate flats also u can opt for, but its bit costly.

Alumni/Alumna

There is separate portal for the alumni in which regualr updates are being posted from both the college and the alumni. We get good help from our seniors though this site. People refer the job opportunities which they find are reliable.

Exam Structure

The Exam Structure was a bit hectic for me, because was 1 Mid Sem, 1 End Term, 4 Class tests and labs in every week. The whole curriculum was a cumulative sum of all these. Ithe total was summed to be 100 in which the weightage was given as below: 50%(End Term) 30%(Mid Term) and 20%(class tests and attendance). The grading system was CGPA based(out of 10).

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college was fair enough. Though most of the falculties were freshers. Freshers in the sense they just graduated from Mtech. The percentage of PHD qualified is minimal, a handful of resources the head of the department usually was a PHD and under them there were Associate Professors.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??
