Average Marine College at South India

Fine amounts are great in the college. Fine will be imposed on the mistakes which are compulsory and should be paid. Like if one failed to renew or return the books he will be imposed fine Regarding hostel also. the hostel facilities should be improved

Course is actually great which is completely dealing with marine studies. This course is must for a mariner and teaches the best for a great mariner. This college provides mainly two courses i.e Bsc. Nautical science and B. Tech Marine engineering. Those who prefer deck side can choose Bsc nautical science and those who prefer engine side can choose BTech Marine Engineering Exam pattern of Bsc is based on Alagappa university and Btech Marine engineering is of IMU. Both the exams are totally career based.

Coimbatore Marine College provides a great oppertunity for placement and other activities. Almost all our seniors are now placed and the present batch's placement process are taking progress. Many companies provide oppertunity to take over cadets which include dock and tail company

All the national events are celebrated in the college. Now the Holi festivals are going on which include Dj night and pooja. College day, sports, arts etc are conducted which helps students to participate in every activities.

Fees is expensive compared to other courses in our country. Because the course is also entirely different from others which other members not prefer to choose. This course enables one to make a perfect mariner which not everyone can make out.

Loans are provided for taking educational purposes. Scholarship are provided for girls upto 1 lakh rupees and also for those who scored 85% in their PCM(Physics Chemistry Maths) in higher secondary education.

Girls are generally in less ratio for taking this course. In our batch of totally 70 students only 2 of them are girls. That is whybthe college is offering the scholorship for lady cadets. Regarding politics: politics is not at all present in the college. Girls and Boys are considered equal and given equal oppertunities. Physical training is also provided by the college

Hostel rooms are not much good. But it is of average level. First years are given seperate hostel and others are provided with one other hostel. Girls are provided another one. Hostel rooms should have improved.

Seniors are really helpful minded. Cadets from all of india are present in the college. They share their experiences and would help in their studies. According to the college seniors should be given respect ad an officer. But they are really lovable and helpful

This is one of the average marine colleges available at south Indian region. Very few Marine colleges are available at South India which is approved by DG shipping. The admission was followed by interview. The main reason for taking this course was because my ambition. Whoever having a great ambition of becoming a mariner can choose this college

Faculty are all good and helpful. They would help us to prepare exams very well and clarify whatever doubts we have about the subject. Focus on studies and have a great career. Most of the faculties are experienced sea farers which is very helpfull in learning sea life.
