There is no bad thing about IIT Bombay it is the best college anyone can get if someone asks me what have gained from your college I will say, friends. People are amazing I have never met people like this before in my life.

IIT-JEE, I scored 160 marks at my time of counseling Indian Institute of Technology Bombay was on the top colleges in India and mechanical was my interest. The admission process was online and hassle free, we got fill the choices in order of preference and we were allotted the choices according to our rank.

The course curriculum is good and very vast we do around 50 courses to complete our degree. We can also take courses from other departments as well, as minors and electives.

I did an internship in Larsen and turbo, Mumbai I didn't get any stipend though. The experience was very nice, I got to learn many things I was in the design department on molded case circuit breaker there I learned design in CAD software called Pro Engineer.

Just one word ' Incredible' lots and lots of companies visit the campus every year the number of companies visiting keeps increasing every year. The salary offered by the companies is also very good the average salary is around 6-7 LPA. Placements run in two-phase one from 1st Dec to 18 Dec another from 1 Jan to 1 august.

Mood Indigo and techfest both are Asia's largest festivals in their respective genre. Mood Indigo is a cultural festival of four days while techfest is a technical festival of three days these generally occur in December last our January starting I like mood indigo more than Tech fest.

I am availing of free messing scholarship it is given only to reserved category students whose parents income is less than 4.5 LPA. In this scholarship, the basic mess fees are exempted and you get monthly 250 rs as your pocket money another is Merit cum Means aka MCM given to students who have CPI greater than 8 and parents income less than 4.5 LPA.

Campus life is great cream of India is here gender ratio is very poor though. Diversity is very very good I have friends from almost all states, it's amazing. We have people of both sexual orientations in fact there is a club here called Sathi which is an LGBT club.

Hostel and fees are around 15000 per semester only students who are in their final year get a single room others to have to share with another student. Mess food is also not bad somedays its not that good but other days its good hostel rooms are suitable for one person.

They are one organization here SARC which keeps track of alumni and call them on regular basis to interact with us. They conduct many events and festivals in which they invite the alumnus to the campus to have face to face conversation with the current students who are willing to talk to their seniors.

Faculty is also very good and experienced who wants their students to learn something they are very helpful.
