Remarks

College is good, good environment but training & Placement can be improved for core branch. Also the campus can be improved by introducing more number of events or social gatherings between students & teachers

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good but it can be improved by introducing more practical knowledge then theory. exam criteria is based on curriculum. It can be improved by University. Also introduction to practical work will enhance students knowledge.

Placement Experience

4

Placements & job opportunities are not up to mark. Lots of Circuit companies are visiting the campus but less core companies. Circuit companies like Solitare Infosys, softwiz, infowiz, metal cine industry etc. College gives training for one month after first year with no stipend. Students can get internships outside college with stipend

3.5

Science fair :- two day program in which whole college can participate according to their department. youth festiva :- it is organised every year, students can participate as per their interests & talent in theatre music literature acting creativity etc events akhand paath :- 3 day akhand path is organised in the college. saraswati pooja :- full time function of saraswati pooja is organised with full procedure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible structure. Also various scholarship are provided to students for their education Like prime minister scholarship scheme Chief minister scholarship scheme SC/st scheme. College scholarship scheme Fee waiver scheme

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed the chief minister scholarship scheme depending upon my marks in the diploma. In this I got relaxation of 48000 from govt annually. & The rest I pay per semester. Semester fee is 42000 but due to relaxation I only pay 18000

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities are the backbone of college where students can show their talent & skills. Labs are good. working conditions Sports are the best thing which can happen in any institute. Those are very good we got many gems in the college from sports

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Not opted the hostel. But hostel facility is decent. Good infrastructure, great mess food. Sports room, inbuilt gym, good repairing facilities Supporting staff for hostel mess. Good communication between students

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful & supporting. Keen listeners. Kind. Truly inspiring. Good communications with them. They treat us like brothers.no gap for senior junior students. They play very supportive role in our lives

Admission

I studied 3 year diploma in mechanical engineering. So I took BTech in mechanical engineering for graduation.I got admission thourough general counselling. In this I filled a counseling form & depending upon my previous result I got a seat easily in second year of my graduation

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is very good.very supportive.& Helpful. Full friendly & genuine behaviour.well educated staff. All the teachers are having PhD & masters for there particular subjects. No difference between students. Quality over quantity they prefer.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
