Remarks

Its is a decent college. I love it because I get a lot of free time from my college so that I can do my work. But at the same time this factor can prove to be bad too, if someone is not taking advantage then. Also a very good college in terms of student focus and updating curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is nice. Exams are good too. We've exams in such a sense that a student is developed all-round. We've 30% weight in written or MCQs and other 70% is lab work, presentations, vivas, group discussions and projects.

Placement Experience

4

Yes, the college provides internships. In fact from 3rd year itself. And they try to keep a track of students who find internships from themselves in 1st year as well. The stipend is decent. It depends on the talent.

College Events

4.5

There are various joyous event in our college. Mélange, Vishwakarandak to name a few. They are fantasticly organized. And the experience is amazing. We'd amazing sub events in there too. Even I was head of couple of events too. Like robowars etc etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

It ranges for caste. Ranging from 2000-for sc/st to 1.8L for general. That factor is there. But it depends on the person's home's conditions. But yes as compared to other colleges, our college has a pretty affordable fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college do provide scholarship. Its via government by the way. They have different types of scholarships. I've availed one. I'm OBC, so my fees has been cut to 88, 000 from 1.5L. We've scholarship head at our college too, who manages this work.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities are very good. We've all kinds of sports and much more. The gender ratio is good. The campus is small so sometimes matches are held outside the campus in some other areas. But overall it's good.

Hostel Facilities

3

I don't stay in college's hostel. I've my own flat in Pune. We share in 4. 4K each/month. The place I stay is a society and a good place to live. We've hostel for our college too. But they are not that big and decent.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good. They are helping. There are some events too regarding alumni. Senior students are very good too. There is not at all any ragging in our college. Department wise alumni visits are held too.

Admission

There is an exam called MHCET in Maharashtra. I scored 130 in that exam and I got electronics engg. In this college. Then there was proper incoming process for the college. I'd been allotted with this college and got to know online and then all the documentation process was done offline in college.

Faculty

4

The faculty is decent. Some are good but some are bad. Some teach with passion and some not at all. All the professors are qualified but some do not show much interest in teaching. The lab is fun with some faculties.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
