Remarks

Good lab facilities, good security facility, good toilet facilities, but very bad mess and hostel facilities. Bad faculties. Bad infrastructure, and lack of fresh water availability. Most of the water filters are damaged.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

My course is a 3 year course, it's divided into 6 semester. And exams are done in semester base. Our faculties are not best. And our lab facility is almost ok. My course is the most competitive field.

Placement Experience

1.5

Yes, there is a wide opportunity in my course. Mostly in mobile phone technology field, software developing field and etc. Some students of our college got placement in companies like Wipro. I don't have much experience to describe.

College Events

1

Freshers day, Union day, Oonam, X-Mass, arts festival, sports festival, games like volleyball, football, cricket, WUSHU, Department wise celebrations are also present. All programs are average. Sports is very small.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For an average student the fee is feasible. Different course have different fee. Course like chemistry, physics, electronics, computer applications which have lab have high fee. MSW course is more expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

E-Grand, and more other scholarship are provided from the part of the government and from the part of our college. There is no loan facilities provided in my college, there is no professional courses provided in my college.

Campus Life

1

Extracurricular activities are good. Especially in arts festival. But sports is very poor. Most of the students are not interested in sports because they are not done in a proper way. All genders are considered equally.

Alumni/Alumna

Very few of my seniors are helpful, but they are very helpful. Some of my seniors are in hight standard. They visit my college and they visit us too. They give us necessary details for our future opportunities.

Admission

After +2 I applied from Akshaya center, and I got admission thourough community quota. And I went to the college and take admission by submitting my certificates, I paid admission fee in office and I got allotted in my college.

Faculty

1

Most of our faculties are not good in teaching. They don't know how to make class interesting. Our department head is so poor in teaching, he just read the text book without much explanation. His class is very boring and sleepy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
