Central University of Haryana

Central University of Haryana is located in a village area, the surroundings are very clean and pollution free. Living in the campus is really good and provides a learning atmosphere. Here students learn and enjoy there lives and fulfill their dreams. Few areas are still developing.

The course structure is excellent and it is formulated according to the needs of the students. The environment in the classroom is student friendly where we can discuss our queries with our teacher. The labs are well equipped with all the instruments and chemicals required for research. Students can learn thourough practicals in the laboratory. There are a number of research scholars in different departments who are doing their research and are really happy with the environment of the university.

Some courses such as B. Voc. B. Tech, MBA consists of placement opportunities and the package is satisfactory to the students. Yes internship facility is also provided by some departments. Foreign students also becomes part of the internship programs. I am a student who is pursuing a course in the university and currently i am not involved in any internship.

There are different variety of events which takes place in this university. Every year cultural fest "Spandan" is celebrated in the university in which inter and intra university competition takes place. International conferences are also organised in the university from time to time. In year 2019 two international conferences were organised in the university.

Fee structure is very feasible. For example for Masters course in Science the fee is Rs. 14900 for one year. Fee structure varies according to the course. But overall it is affordable. For B. Ed. course the fee is Rs. 28050 for one year. As compared to other B. Ed. colleges fee, it is quite affordable.

Scholarship is available for Phd courses. The scholarship of Rs 8, 000 per month is provided for the phd research scholars in science stream. I am not very much aware of the loan facility in the university.

Girl students are more in number as compared to boys. There is a separate cell for any problem in the university. For eg DSW For student welfare, women empowerment cell, anti ragging cell. Extracurricular activities are also included such as NSS(national serivce scheme), sports such as cricket, and laboratories for research.

Hostel facility is provided inside the university campus for both boys and girls. The hostels are allotted on the basis of marks obtained in the previous qualifying exam (entrance exam for first year srudents and marks in first year for second year students). Hostel rooms are available only in sharing, their is no facility for single rooms. Hostel rooms are in good condition and other facilities inside the hostel are also good. There is no facility for PG nearby the campus. Usually hostel seats are available for all students. And some new buildings for hostels are also under construction.

Alumini meet is organized every year in the university where seniors share their experience with new students. These meets are really helpful to new students to know about the university and the course they are pursuing.

The procedure of admission in CUH is quite simple. The online forms for various courses are available on website in the month of march every year and entrance is conducted in may month. After the declaration of results the online counseling process begins, the students who are selected in the list needed to pay the fee thourough online mode only and they get admission. It is a really simple procedure. The students from distant places can easily participate in online admission process. This is also one of the reason i chose this university over the other options. This university has a good infrastructure and it is well equipped with facilities.

Every department in the university has well qualified teachers who are experts in their respective fields. Teachers are very experienced and they always take interest in teaching of a subject. They not only act as a teacher but also a guide who always motivates us to work hard.
