Good atmosphere and lots of space.our college is famous for its greeny campus.it was constructed almost 100 years ago and is based on antique architecture.being inside the campus alone provides us with aesthetics.We have a really good library with internet facility.students have a lot of space to spend quality time with friends.
Course Curriculum Overview
Here the exams are conducted in a six semester system of thouree years.The syllabus of my course is good and vast. Helps us to crack various competitive exams.each semester deals with a specific area of our main subject. For the first four semesters we also have to study first and second languages.They play an important role in determining our total grade.inaddition to the languages and main subject we have to study two complementary subjects. The complementary subjects change according to the degree.some may even have choices.
Placement Experience
Our college does not provide internshipsbut various job fairs are conducted in our college with the help of private agencies.job fairs include various companies that are in need of employees for a short period of time or for working permanently.
College Events
Our college hosts various cultural fests.our college organises intercollegiate competitions and fests in which students from different colleges come together to participate in different events and interact.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college is a government college so education is mainly free for children who are economically weak.for other students it's mainly 500- 3000 indian rupees.the fees is paid on the start of each year for two semesters. In addition to the semester fees we also pay the examination fee which may vary according to the number of papers we are appearing for.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college alone does not avail any scholarships but various government scholarships are available.They mainly aim the economically weak children with good grades.Some scholarships are also provided only on the basis of merit.
Campus Life
Our college is a womens only college.it provides a lot of wonderful opportunities for the students to participate in sports and cultural activities inside and outside the college.various students of our college have participated in national and intercollegiate competitions and won.different departments arrange workshops on interesting subjects.
Alumni/Alumna
Many senior students return to our college for higher education.our college has a thouree year bachelor's program and a two year masters program.The senior students and alumni influence us in a lot of ways while selecting colleges.the senior students always gives us tips for easy studying and time management.
Admission
I got admission in this college by applying thourough the Kerala University admission portal and waited for the allotment after paying the registration fee. Few weeks later a trial allotment was published to know our chances of getting into the colloges of our choice. We couldn't take admission after this allotment but only after first allotment. After both allotment admissions are enrolled directly in the colleges.
Faculty
Mine is a government college and the professors are highly experienced and have an easy way of teaching.our college is divided into different departments.the departments contain the respective first second and third year classes along with the complementary classes.The teachers divide the syllabus among themselves and teach us according the area of thier expertise.
