Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is one of the main source for may competitive examination. This make us easier to write those exams. As maths is essential in life, application in real life is possible. Also the curriculum is good for futher academic process. If the weightage of each module is given, it will be very usefull. Timing of exams and improvement exam must be adjusted according to result announcement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay almost 1500 rupees per year. The fee changes according to lab fees. Caution fee and PTA fund together I paid around 4000 - 5000 rupees. The SC, ST, students don't want to pay yearly and exam fee. Exam fee is about 505 rupees per semester. There are so many scholarships for students like E-grants, one girl child, etc.

Campus Life

4

So many programmes are provided. Arts day, sports day, college day, ethnic day... and so on. The library is vast and have almost all type of books and journals. Most of the classroom is provided with projector and facilities are good. Many sports teams are there including cricket, football, handball etc. Also many clubs are there like NCC, NSS, anti ragging cell,... etc

Hostel Facilities

4

Its a private hostel. Food is good but facilities are not that good. Average meal and sometimes menu differs. For university hostel, want to apply online and wait for updation. There are so many pg and private hostel nearby. Snv sadanam, zenana, muslim association ect are some hostel nearby.

Admission

I got admission at Al- Saints college, TVM. But the facilities and other activities are better here. Many clubs, sports team and other activities are provided. So I choose this college. 12 passed students who studied maths can apply to this coures. 12 mark is valued. No entrance exam. There are other couses too. Can apply online for any course.

Faculty

4

The faculty are highly qualified people. There are difference in number of faculties in different departments. They are close to students and are friendly. Some of them are poor in conveying ideas and some are great in that. I'm a 3 year degree student and I have 6 semester. So I want to write 6 exams each with 6 papers. Exams are difficult. Some of the students get failed. Carriculum could be updated

Night Life

3

Cafeteria is very good and food is available upto 5 PM. There is open gym and gym in campus. Its very useful. Library is also good. There are many hangout space in campus itself. All are very cheerful all the day. There is no college hostel but university hostel is just opposite college and want to apply online for room. Timing of campus is 9 30 am to 3 30 pm. As the college is at city center there are so many places to visit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
