Chandigarh University

At last i just want to say that no college is a perfect college by its own It is made by the people those who are studying there and those who are working there. I dont have any negative remark about my college i just want to say if one's is truly passionate for his or her dreams then chandigarh university will be the right platform for him or her.

In our college we have 2 semester in one year each semester is of 6 months in every semester we have to go thourough numbers of exam and at last we have to pass in all of the subjects. Exams are divided into 2 categories 1 Internal -) here we have mid semester test, assignments, projects etc fall under the internal test together they are of 40 marks 2 External -) here we have to give a written exam which is of 60 marks, at last all the marks were added and cgpa is calculated.

We have our own placement department cell which is responsible for all companies come to our college here you will find every MNC for placement drives for example Microsoft Google, Amazon, Infosys, TCS etc there are 400 + companies visited last year in our college. Our college also provide joint campus placement.

Our college celebrates no. Of events in 2019 is a host for AIU In 2020 we hosted punjab youth festival as well. We also host Cu fest every year and dj nights are organized time to time for students and there are number of technical events are also organized for students.

It comes under the category of expensive we have to our semester fee twice in year i.e. Sum of 79500 rupees. And 75000 for annual hostel fee we have to pay it by cash card internet banking or by nift.

Our college provided 10% for those who belong to Sc St and Obc's and those students whose parents are in army except Crpf. If the candidate performs well in Jee main then also he can get 10% scholarship. If candidate clears jee advance exam then 100% scholarship will be provided. If you achieve 90% in your boards exams i.e. in class 12 then also you are eligible for 10% scholarship.

There are numbers of extra curricular activities present in our college for example Ncc, Nss those who are good in sport here you will find every sports you play we have almost every sport present in our college and coaches are also available for you.

I have been living into hostels from past 1.5 years and i will continue till i get my degree. I will give 7 out of 10 for hostels infrastructure and facilities. We have to pay 75000 as our annual hostel fee in which we get 5 seater room 3 tumes food and 1 time snacks electricity water sequrity and medical team are present 24×7 whenever you needed they will be thier. And we also get 24*7 highspeed internet for our study purpose which is very helpful for all students. Talking about food thier is fixed time for breakfast lunch and dinner and the quality of food is slightly above than average and also we get free access to gym and we can workout thier any ti.e we want and it is free of cost.

Here i can assure you that our college is 100% ragging free. When i come intially i also had a fear of ragging in my mind but when after spending 1 week her i realize that here no senoir is try to tease or bully juniors they don't even take our introduction they all are busy i thier work. I truly thanks anti ragging cell of our college for doing such a great job.

I simply give exam that was conducted by my college and i got a call from them then after that i visited to college and my counseling is done and then i am ask to show my original document like aadhar card, 12 and 10 marksheet and other necessary documents then at my counseling i got to know about that my college provide some extra scholarship for those kids whose parents are in army and then i got 10 % scholarship on my semester tuition fee. After that hostels are allotted to me and i must say that my college hostels are way much better than other colleges i have visited earlier

I am satisfied by faculty of my college in this year but in 1 year i am not satisfied because they are not that much qualified to teach us but right now i am satisfied because all of our teachers have completed phd and have a great experience of teaching.
