Remarks

There are so many things need to be improved. There should a sport lecture everyday. Health is wealth. Management techniques should be taught in every class. Friendly environment is necessary. Professor training is necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course curriculum decided according to SPPU. But few activities added in every semester. For example writing extra assignment, extra workshops, etc. All this additional things are worst. No meanings. You won't get time to cover your syllabus. So again more lecture are arranged. So no time for self study. Definately your score will reduce. The main thing is that you will never get a time to achieve your goals.

Placement Experience

2.5

Yes, there are placement and job opportunities. College also helds some skills enhancing workshop. They might help to get placed. Few opportunities for mechanical and production. And there is no internship in college. For internship you have struggle your own.

College Events

1.5

Medha event (once in a year). Its a very big event. All colleges of Amrutvahini institute do participate. 4 day of Happiness in a year. First day is celebrated as traditional day. Remaining 3 days are for Medha (gathering, singing, speeches, plays ). Always college will decide who will participate. Attendence is big issue. For attendence they charge you a big fine. They will make you write a Bond for attendence.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are average. It's around 88 thousands per year for Open category candidates. For OBC it is around 50k. In final year they charge around 10k with no reason. They also make fine for late registrations.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship from college. Scholarship is offered by Government only. College does no such thing for students. But few professors from college do help to poor students. College do give 6000 thousand for scoring more than 9.5 pointer. Else they are always ready to collect large fine.

Campus Life

4

No extracurricular activities for sport. Infact there should a sport subject every semester. The students who have involved in sports have to bare so many losses such as attendence fine, oral backlog.etc. college never promote for Sports. They do arrange extra seminars but not useful. Professor have a wrong mentality. They never thinks positive.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel fee 20000 per year Deposit 2000 Hostel facility are not good. So strict. Closing time is early. Guards never behave politely. No use of electronic gadgets. If found they will charge you a large fine and never get back your stuff. I was not in hostel but I have seen all such thing. Even my friends have a very bad experience.

Alumni/Alumna

Having interaction with aluminium is really helpful. They do suggest us how to make a good career. How to do study. And important thing is that immediately get a job, college never helps for placement.

Admission

Admission process is lengthy. Tooks a lot time. Actually its fault of SAVITRIBAI FULE PUNE UNIVERSITY. Which have a very worst process. It requires a lot of documentation. If one fails to comply it, it goes Do or Die. It also costs a more. AVCOE tooks some money at the end of engineering, which has no valid reason. On the day of admission they use to take us from one department to another department. And while receiving fees they deny for cashless/online transection. It seems to a fraud. So if someone wants to get admit beware of such things.

Faculty

0.5

Here comes to important discussion. For our development we require a proper guidance. But here is trap. No faculty is not well trained except 1or 2. Some are not able to speak English. They just used to blame us. But few are really good. They will always ready to help their students, to solve queries (e.g. prof. Vishal Borkar). If you are willing to persue your degree be ready for self study in short time.

> From the 4th semester itself, students can go on a off-campus intership with the permission of the college department; the college takes care of the students' attendance. > While mostly students start looking for an internship from the 6th sem onwards. >About 80-85% students were placed from the final year, and the rest many chose to pursue higher studies in foreign countries. > The highest package went up to 12-13 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA, on the other hand the average package was 6-7 LPA. > The top recruit companies are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
