Best institute for Management Studies in India. Its trully the temple of learning in city of temples. It has groomed my overall personality and made me a betrer person than before.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My college provided me enough learnings through Theories and practical knowledge. Often group excercises and group events used to take place like " Band Baja Bazar " which was a Marketing event aimed to bring out "Philip Kottler " inside you. There were activities like Finalysis( a case study competition), HR case studies, Operations case studies.all these events not only had fun but imparted knowledge too. My college also had Industrial visits. It also organises various intra and inter college competitons, thus gave us a platfom to showcase our talent and sharpen it more. All these helped to perform well in campus placements and buildind a better career.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of the college is awsome, though it also depends on the economic factors but overall its good. Reputed and reknowed companies like Wipro,Infosys,IBM, Ujjivan small finance Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI Life, Mother Dairy,DHL are somd of our daily recruiters as they visit our campus each year. I did my summer Internship from Mahindra and Mahindra Financial services, lucknow. I was asked to find out the reasons for high turn around time and suggestions to reduce it. I worked on it and quoted suggestions. It gave me best experience of working in corporates.

College Events

4

The events were 1) vividha 2) Face off 3) Spandan 4) Ran sangram 5)MPL( Management Premiere League). The events, competitions and feativals held by the faculty and college help to develop the overall personality of the students and there is no discrimination which is done on the basis of caste, religion or creed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. It costs 25k per semester. The fee structure of other faculties in BHU premises is not even more than, 3000 and that makes BHU, a temple of learning in the city of Varanasi. The students from round the globe can come and study in BHU and get quality education at minimal cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any loan or scholarship from the college but the university provides scholarships to students from financially disabled background on a regular basis.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio was 1:1.There were musical nights and parties too. There was no sexual discrimination and everyone was respected equally. There were a number of workshops being organised by my college on regular basis. Also we had a number of guest lectures in our college. There were committees like Placement committee which was responsible for works related to placement. There was a cultural committee which focued on extra curicullar activities of the students. There was a Students cell which looked into stident's problems and grievances. There was one committee which was responsible for conducting brain storming activities.

Hostel Facilities

5

No i have not opted for hostel but the hostel facilites provided by university is such that it cannot be compared with any other college in India. The infrastructure is great and the environment motivates students to study.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were very interactive and used to help us with studies. They help in every way they can and provide notes if possible.

Admission

I got admission in Faculty of Management studies, Banaras Hindu University by giving CAT (Common Aptitude Test) exam, then i was short listed for GD- PI based on my CAT scores and percentile.I clared GDPI by a good margin and hence got this reputed college in city knows as city of Temples.I chose this Institute becauss of the following reasons- 1) A reknowed college in India for Management Studies 2) Around 90 percent of the facultied here are very experienced and an expert in their subject. 3)The ROI of the college is just awsome in terms of knowledge distribution and Campus placements.

Faculty

4.5

There are around 30 Professors in my college including the permanent and guest faculties. Each and every one of them is a gem and an ocean of Knowlwdge.Their average age will be 40 years. Around 90 to 120 lectures are being organised per semester as per the complexity and length of the syallabus of the subject. The professors here are very experienced and prodigal. They have written no. Of papers,Books etc

Placement Experience:

This institute has a record of the best placements provided in India.A total of 375 and more recruiters visit the campus every year.During our time , the average package was 7.4 LPA and the highest was 19.18 LPA. Top recruiters were Adani, Amazon,Amul, Asian paints, silicon labs,ICICI bank, HCL, Dabur, PhonePe, TVS motors and many more. Except me and one of my friend opted out of the placement drive as we wanted to study further, rest all got placed in reputed companies all over the country. The institute has a different level of benchmark in its placement drive.

Admission:

After graduating I went through a lot of programs and courses I found PGDM to be the most beneficial course. Hence I applied here for the same in this college. Recommended by my friends and family I gave the CAT exam and scored 70%. Here the admission process requires certain steps to be fulfilled which were firstly I cleared the written test conducted by the college authority which carried 20% marks followed by Academic qualification and CAT scores and the final process involved the Group discussion and a Personal Interview.
